Although ATS drives me a little crazy sometimes I don’t think I’ve ever felt saner than after I joined. Logging onto ATS more is a hell of a lot saner than listening to media outlets like ABC.

Sure is funny,I guess the media only wants you to hear their skewed version of something,as far as mental health issues, the I guess the truth does truly hurt

All of us have to remember that ats, is here as an enemy of the news on tv and radio or print. this is why they do not like us, and it is affecting them.

Just remember that we would not take any flack, if we where not hitting them someway.

Also i doubt they expected us, to understand alot of what was going on, without being part of there network.

Until Rupert Murdoch tries to add ATS to it's notched belt of
acquisitions I think we are ok. There very well could be some
disinformant agents here, but all they can do is be skeptics
at this point. Reshaping the internet or banning sites like these
would cause outrage. Their best chance is a very, very slow
process in which skeptics and disinformants are encouraged
to convince people that their awakening is false. Not sure
what there next step will be.

SIDE NOTE:
I find it interesting that the word "disinformant" appears to
be highlighted red as I type, to let me know there is a spelling
mistake. Yet "Rupert Murdoch" is recognized as correct and
no red indicator of incorrect spelling. Most names I type in appear
to be red, since the program does not recognize all proper nouns.

I believe this is due to the Firefox software and not the site.
I just thought it was funny however.

You have to ask, if that did happen, who would be to blame? the site, or the person making the original post, and whether or not the information posted was just a troll, or genuine, and that's what would make the outcome unpredictable, I believe we are yet to see our first lawsuit over a matter like this, people get sued for a lot less.

If the content of an online conspiracy site could be linked to someone going off and committing mayhem, charges would have been successfully laid against the companies that produce the news and violent movies. The law can't have it both ways when its convenient to them.

My mother has the news channel on nearly 24 hours a day. Being online instead while going about your business is a person's own perogative. This is entire topic is terrifying. The minute they're bring this kind of thing up you know your country is in very bad shape politically. And this is after Obama's election? Next time, don't vote for anyone with a bloodline, or anyone they've pre-selected for you. Drag some average Joe or Jane kicking and screaming in and then protect them from assissination long enough to reveal everything, put in a good proportional democracy and call another election. Do the smart thing.

well, I think that conspiracy websites is pretty good source for the NWO masters to see what is going under the surface. it could be even so that they are producing some of that conspiracy theories by themself.

they goal would be to prepare the people for what is coming by putting the false flag threats before the real events and by spreading the fear among the citizens to make them more willing for the any change which will bring more security with it. NWO will be better than haox and fear for most of the people. unfortunatetly.

byt anyway they will never ban the conspiracy websites. they can only try to control it a little better.

and by the way, thanks to the websites like this, they have all of us on the watch...

They have nothing on us here at ATS! They wont ban freedom of speech its up to users to decide whether they believe in something... Or are some people just weak minded?

I've been vindicated in at least one conspiracy theory of mine. That being Iraq. So it would be pretty hard for any psychiatrist to convince me that I'm wrong on any other deeply held conspiracy beliefs I have. I suppose its something I'll just have to live with. Which I do without regret.

CNN mentioned something about Governor Blagojehvich as if mentally ill. I suppose he may actually have something to be paranoid about in a position he holds in an allegedly corrupt system in Chicago. He may even owe a large sum of money to some unknowns? If only he would have been an active member here, he wouldn't be having these problems.

I would just like to point out that John Keel made a similar remark back in, I want to say, Operation Trojan Horse. I think it was something along the lines that cases of schizophrenia were higher amongst conspiracy theorists than people not interested in conspiracies. It does make some sense as well. From my time on here I have noticed some paranoid personality types as well as experiencing some cases of paranoia myself.

Wow, seriously? You gotta be kidding me.

Of course places like ATS are a threat to the NWO/Elitests whatever, but a health threat? Puh-Leez!

But this is it though, the U.S. government (and others) have claimed again and again that they'll be taking control. By issuing health alerts related to conspiracy websites, they'll create a concern which many sheeple will react to demanding ATS and other conspiracy sites be SHUT DOWN.

Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Peace,
FK

I just read this article. I was compelled to write a comment to ABC, which I relate below:

So the mainstream media is "sane" because of what? Oh, I see...because they parrot whatever is told them to say by their owners. We haven't had real "journalists" who go out and dig up a story since Watergate. What we are stuck with today as "news" is the story of what Hollywood slut is sleeping with which rockstar sleezebag. The "news reader" relates what is printed on the paper in front of her/him, and doesn't dare stray from the script. This is sane?
The "story" on the conspiratorial types is important why? Oh, yes...to help them become "sane" and enjoy the real news as prescribed by the media tycoons. Surely it has nothing to do with loss of huge quantities of listeners to alternative news sites springing up all over the net and the resultant loss of funds from advertisers. Choosing the most "out-there" of the group of conspiritorialists you then lump all in the same pot as the lowest common denominator and achieve your goal of making them all oddballs. Why not explore what it is you are so afraid of and prove them wrong with research, logic and reasoning? Oh, yeah that would mean spending some money for research, right? And we all know how tight money is now in the newsroom what with the loss of all those listeners who now get their news elsewhere on the net.Too bad about the mainstream media. Oh, nevermind. Just go back to reporting on Hollywood or who won American Idol or who's Dancing with the Stars...that's where true "sanity" exists. As for me...I as a thinking person...I'll stick with AboveTopSecret.com where I get to sort it out for myself and draw my own quiant conclusions.

This about sums it up from my standpoint...

You think ATS tells the truth hm? If that were true there would not be the ability to make a new forum called "Aliens are in our pancakes" without an editor saying "wait a minute you've gone too far".

This forum, and others, are filled with unedited amateur BS often conjured up for a laugh. Do you not agree?

It is as though my point on the previous page was completely overlooked so that the thread could be filled up with defendants of ATS.

its interesting they attack places like these

i see their point of view and to some extent its true

im sure it does have consequences

but id much rather be this type of crazy then the type of kool aid drinking type of crazy who advocates bombing iran for no reason because they have absolutely no political knowledge and just believe all the bs propaganda the media spews

i look at even my freinds sometimes like "dude youre Freaking dumb as rocks" for some of the propaganda crap they say

there may be some dangers in knowing the truths, and the true truths may be hard to find through all the crazy schizophrenic clutter, but no one ever said life was easy

You poor, sad people. You all have no clue what is happening here. Websites like this are making you all raving lunatics. You are reading nothing but insane BS all the time and it is making you a danger to yourself and others. We could round you all up and commit you but that would be bad for society. Here is what we will do, shut down this stupid internet thing. It is hurting you and you are all too stupid to realize it. We will protect you from yourselves and shut this all down and replace it with the Pepsi-Cola-Nike-MSNBC-FOX-XBOX-interconnected site broadcasting system. You will be safe from crazy people like you and your children will be back to the good old pedophiles in the church instead of th FBI ones online all entrapping each other. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

I think that someone in the wrong frame of mind, could have problems after reading stuff from cts sights like this, but PORN is much, much worse imo. I think porn sites ruin families, and lives sometimes. Again, that all depends on the person viewing. Some people cant handle the things they see in a way that wont become hurtful to themselves, others are able to read and make their own opinions, and not go off the deep end. In no way does that constitute a reason to shut down these types of sites. some people go off the deep end watching their local news stations too. so I argue that local news broadcasts are hurtful and should be stopped

leave us alone!

I guess the question would be who's crazier:

The person that believes every single thing the govt. tells them is the truth.

The person who questions the government asking what it's end motives are for each decision and why can't the people be told how their 2 trillion dollars of tax money is spent.
