I said it before and I'll say it again. It's about intent.

When you're speaking to a hostile crowd and you say something like Ann Coulter did when she called Obama ‘Least Dangerous’ Hussein, /that/ is using the word to associate him with terrorists, to create FEAR. It's, again, INTENT.

You seem more concerned about what Israel is doing than what your own country will do, you ask are we not afraid of ww3? of course I am and almost everyone I know.

Let Israel do what Israel wants to do, it isn't going to do much if it thinks it will be alone when it does, as I've already said GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE, he hasn't even got into office, but yet he has already had more hatred thrown at him than any other president elect in history, you think that's because he's a bad man? BS.

Show me a single Obama thread anywhere on ATS, where the subject does not turn to his colour, name, family history, religion? how about a thread on his policies?

It's no surprise to me people jump to his defence in threads like this, does it surprise you?

I'm not having a dig, what I am asking is why not just wait and see? out of all the news worthy events happening all around the World, this is the least of anyone's problem, not that it is even a problem.

Obama will be president , unless some bastard gets through and ends the dream, he is Ambassador supreme right now for your country, he doesn't need to do the things he is, but at least he is having a go, just like all the other Ambassadors in countries around the World, they are the front line to World events, he seems to me like a man who can make America great again, I also see it as possibly the last chance for your country and it's citizens.

If you don't like it, why not run for office yourself, even as a local representative, even if you think you can be better, at least have a try.

Thank you for the thread.

I didn't see this during the campaign so much out of his people and him, but I would have to agree that now he has seemed to flop to the audience he is speaking to.

But all politicians do this somewhat and some more than others, but what effect will his flopping around have on our allies that depend on America backing them and helping them? Like I said I am getting worried about what's going on. And honestly I wasn't worried so much on election day, I thought Obama would stick to his points and help bring America back to some kind of respectability in the world, I don't see that now I see a complete flop to make the Islamic Terror supporting nations think he is OK.

Is he looking for a fight or just being given bad advice? His actions are suspect to at least our Allies fighting Islamic Terrorists right now like Israel, India, Russia, France, Britain and others

Great reply, thanks!

Anyone listening to Ann Coulter should have their heads checked, the chick has 2 Adams Apples for Pete's sake, and she is a hater, fear monger. I would never back her or her words. But the Military guy who used it was called the same thing when he stated that "I used it beause it is his middle name". This is now the stance of Barack's team, I see a 180 Degree flop on this issue and when our leaders start flopping 180 degrees I get worried. And these flops are significant in how our allies see us...

I wold concede your point on Ann Coulter, but I aint defending her/him either.

Thnank you for your thoughts

Absolutely, start a thread on his politics and past votes and bills. I supported Dr. Paul but of the two I thought Obama was the better choice as far as foreign policy went, McCain is a angry old man so I did'n't trust him at all.

The facts are that Obama is a gun grabber when you talk about his past votes and bills. And how can we talk about his politics going forward when he has swung 180 degrees on so many things already?

I am worried about Israel, because I see that as the HOT SPOT of danger and possible start of WW3. There are many threads on here about that very issue, will Israel Attack?

I never did trust Obama, I see your points,

Obama is an enigma,

People fell for the hype, yes, because he is a master of doublespeak, they say his Gpaw was a pathological liar, I am still trying to get inside Obama's head.

Thank you for the link, guess CHANGE isn't included in everything. This Saudi plan is the Bush Roadmap to peace plan pretty much. And I am worried about that for the reasons stated already. Israel will not go down again no way no how unless they take the rest of the middle east with them.

Bush didn't get his plan, possibly because he used all his political capital on Iraq and other such things or possibly because there Jews or Israel supporters in his staff.

But this surely shows that Barack does not want change of the Saudi plan and it appears the NAU and SPP. which will destroy America and Canada and change will surely come, not the kind any American or Canadian wants though.

Star for you for the great link that makes my point on what our Allies will think about his recent actions since being elected...

Ok, you obviously need to pay attention to the language you use.
Not my problem if you can't see what is wrong with the state I quoted right out of your follow up post.

This is what we call ignorance.

First off I haven't responded to you I don't believe, I take a lot of meds for back but I don't think I did, but I shall...

The problem with the Middle name as told several times in this thread is the FLOP, his middle name was a racists slur during the campaign. Barack refused to use it at all and called everyone who did a racist. Now all of a sudden he embraces his name and it's not racist anymore? This is hypocritical bull chips, either his middle name is a racist slur or it is not, you can NOT have two standards. And this LOUSY excuse coming ut of the Barack camp that it si Tradition has been thoroughly DEBUNKED in this thread.

I try to deny Ignorance always, but I don't think being a hypocrite is about ignorance is it? Like I said, the next Republican that uses his middle name will be called a racist, you watch and see, BUT IT IS HIS MIDDLE NAME!

Of course you would fell that way, but riddle me this batman...

When the Military guy used his Middle Name during a speech did everyone freak out and call him a racist? Why did Barack RUN from that name all during the campaign and then embrace it later?

You know what I notice none of you want to answer any of the Questions and now you're using the Military guys excuse that YOU ALL REFUSED TO ACCEPT then but boy howdy it sure is OK now to accept it.

This is the DEFINITION of Hypocrisy...

The report is from Faux News. There are no facts in there only political slant. Fox news called for the assassination of Obama several times throughout this campaign

What is it about politics that makes people lie so much. Are you from the Daily Kos staff?

On topic -
I do agree that this is a non-story. The word silly comes to mind. The word meaningless comes to mind. Sorry OP but even though I did not vote for him, I don't think the insanely Far Right is correct and I'm a right leaning Moderate. I'd still be a Republican were it not for the crazed Far Right. I'll be fair here and say the Far Left is even worse.

um sarcasm is not needed kthx.

You seem to be so quick to jump down my throat for stating my opinion.
maybe if I worded it a little differently.

As an American citizen by birth, a regular, living, breathing human being. just going about my day, I say that this issue with his middle name is bullocks. I could care less what his middle name is. Before you go on the "you're just an Obamatron!" rant, I'll say that I didn't vote for Obama. I didn't vote for McCain either, I really don't care much for politics, my mother is a politician and I try to stay as far away as possible from that arena. Stay informed, formulate my own opinions, go from there.

So I'd appreciate it, if you thought a little bit about the responses you're getting. It seems to me that you're so riled up over this issue that you are willing to judge people immediately over their response if it doesn't line up with yours

I don't even know what this "Military Man" thing has to do with call me ignorant whatever.

Sure he "ran" from his middle name throughout the campaign, just like McCain used it against him. If I had a nickel for every "Vote McCain not Hussein" bumper sticker I saw I'd be filthy rich.

All I said, is that people are making a big fuss over him using his middle name, he's a hypocrite, so what, Peter denied Jesus three times, he's a hypocrite too. We've all been hypocrites at some point in our life. I've dressed up and played the part of the "picture perfect political family" but in real life I'm just the average black sheep of the family (piercings and tattoos hidden for campaign photos!), so that makes me a hypocrite everyday I deal with those things

Long story short, it's his middle name and doesn't matter to me because guess what, IT'S JUST HIS MIDDLE NAME, he comes from a different background than mine, who am I to judge a person based on their MIDDLE NAME. Hell there is even talk about whether or not that is his real name.

Maybe I was just raised differently.
