Sorry but your already a slave same as the rest of us.
All the people that have a credit card, hire purchase agreement or mortgage have been lead down a path of bad financial advice.
You are taught that if you have a lot of money then you are happy, and to be happy is great.
Tell you what here's a credit card, you can buy all the stuff you want to make yourself happy, but you have to work to make the payments .
You work long hours, many days a year to pay off this credit card, but in the meantime, you 'borrow' more off of the credit card, which means more
of your wages has to go back to the credit card company.
More wages going to them means less going to buy things that make you happy.
You really want to be happy so to make yourself happy you take out another credit card for teh quick fix of being happy by buying something nice.
You then have to pay 2 cards off = less money for you to be happy with.
Then you grow up and buy a home with a mortgage. Your happy again for a short time.
You have a home and 2 cards to pay off . now with the home comes the added responsability of bills to pay for heating, water, maintenance, food.
so you pay for them on the credit cards. , More money to them and less for you to buy happiness.
You have to take another job now just to make ends meet. You start to feel sad because your now classed as poor.
You weren't taught to be poor at school or college , even your friends and family tell you that to be rich is to be happy and to be happy is to be
rich.
Your now in the self destrucitve cycle that is slavery. .
You borrow to buy, you owe and you MUST pay, if you have no money then you have a life you can trade.
Welcome to be a wage slave .
Servitude is compulsory. as soon as you have to borrow cash you start paing over the top for it. where will it end?
For some it ends in a car with a tube attached to the exhaust, but you can fight back.Don't borrow , buy in bulk and make it last. don't waste .
I'll tell you a story from my past which will help.
I used to work an a well known UK high street electrical retailer in the last 80's. A woman I knew came in and wanted to buy on Hire purchase,
Bearing in mind I was on commission I told her to pay cash as the APR. was 29.9%. The items she wanted added upto about £750 quid . She said she
didn't have the money but really wants this item, she was told it was good . I said if it's good it's worth saving up for , come back and pay cash
for it.
She still took out the HP. The supposed term was a year to finishing paying off the HP, She came to me 2 years later and said she was paying her
monthly payments and still hadnd't started paying the items value off. all she was paying was the interest. .
Its the same today as it was back then. all you do is pay off the interest charged to you by the companies and banks. its a neverending cycle , get
off it as soon as you can.
The only way to be truly free is to be dead, but until that time they will take their pound of flesh from your backside unless you pay everything off
and actually have an increasing plus figure in your bank account.
