Prologue-Rising Sun...

The sun was rising, and so were the weapons of the hundreds of men lined up behind trenches ready to fire at the enemy on a minute’s notice. Weapons cocked, and hopes up, the men got up and charged forward, against the barrage of bullets whistling by each of their heads. Many fell to their deaths and others continued forward towards the enemies bunkers in a last hope to take out the enemy fortifications. The aircraft came in providing combat relief for the soldiers below. Bombs dropping and bullets flying, this fight gave new meaning to the phrase “its raining shells.” As the men got up and jumped to their deaths, the moral seemed to heighten for the fear of losing a valuable prize was on each man’s mind, the prize to lose their home Earth

Chapter 1- Battle Continues On...

The transports landed and reinforcements pored in from the south. Enemy fire overwhelmed the landing troops killing most and destroying the transports. The battle raged on for what seemed to be a lost fight, but the soldiers did not stop they kept on going. While everything looked hopeless, a miracle seemed to have happened. From the horizon a cloud of black dots appeared and as it came closer, it became visible that the hold on Earth would be released. A cloud of bombs raged towards the enemy base, the enemy was being bombed from space. All the troopers began to fall back into the remaining transports in an effort to escape the chaos which was about to be unleashed upon the axis forces.

Chapter 2- New Threat...

The allied forces landed in base Cape Canaveral in Florida prepared to be debriefed in a mission well accomplished. The reign of terror has ended and the soldiers were free to return home to family and friends relieved that their long awaited victory has come. That same week a new threat arrived from space. Long range sensors picked up a large array of enemy vessels headed towards Orion’s belt. From the look of it, this oncoming race did not come here for milk and cookies. Each ship was heavily armored and even heavily armed. Earth’s forces did not have the recourses to fight this Space Armada and seeked help from other races, but with no avail.
The idea to use nuclear weaponry came into mind, but it seemed crazy. Why blow up what you worked so hard to protect? The ETA of the oncoming armada was 2 years and 3 months. In that time, a fleet of ships needed to be designed and built. It did not seem plausible, but everyone was determined to accomplish this, they would do what ever it takes. The next month designs were submitted and accepted. Make shift shipyards were made from naval bases and factories to make the collassul space force to battle the enemy fleet. Dropships would also be needed to invade the ships and blow them internally for a faster and quicker destruction of the alien ships. Designs for forty foot tall mobile suits to combat enemy fighters were under construction as well.
A year and two months later, the first of twenty-three ships were launched. It was a destroyed class ship and carried several mobile suits. The mobile suits would be called liberators for they would play a key role in protection Earth from certain destruction. The destroyer was designated the Skipjack. It took low orbit of the Earth’s atmosphere awaiting the arrival of the rest of the fleet. Six months later, eight more destroyer class ships were launched, completing the fleet. The capital ship was the only dreadnought in the entire human fleet, it was designated the Scorpion. The Human fleet was comprised of 8 destroyers, 1 dreadnought, 6 cruisers, 3 battleships the Hotel, the Echo, and the November. The rest of the fleet was 5 carrier ships that sacrificed weapons for armor and liberators.
