In my short time here on earth I have seen a sign that says no turn on red, but that sign only means "YOU" if a policeman is near by.
People read into a statement what ever they truly wish to project upon the words of another. I know that many know this as fact. How many times have
you had a responce to one of your posts only to realze the person responding to you is not addressing words to you but to an illusion of you they've
created within their own minds?
This is the self serving bias of understanding. People, unless they are aware of this phenomenon will assume understanding to fit into their form of
"reality".
In this way the bible is filled with false prophets because people project false understandings upon the prophets words.
Beware of false prophets, they are everywhere because false understandings resign within the beastly animalistic nature creation that is you.

Good point but, Im not so sure your correct. Only in the fact that although the bible is mega old it may actualy relate to each person life in any
given time frame. I have read a few articles online where people are starting to believe that what was relevant to say a wench, vicar, priest, baker,
soldier in the medieval times or a child in the 21st century is actualy a metaphor for what you can or will experience in YOUR life. So like Hell on
earth or even just hell is actualy what you experience here. Sorta like a generalisation of what will be.
Oh just for your info im not religious in that sense. But im gonna flag this as i wanna see the reply's...... Oh it could kick off big time... lol

Well yes, but what I was trying to say was that two diffrent people from RIGHT NOW, can read diffrent understandings into the same line of prophecy.
If the prophecy is true, then there is a way the event will play out.
Lets say there are two people Joe and Bob. They both read the words, "as the light shines from one end of the heavens to the next". There's alot of
words there. Joe tends to be biased into thinking the "heavens" is a far off magical land where God is, but Bob sees the "heavens" as the space
around the planet.
Where there are two in a house, one will be taken and the other left.

Ok i understand u point and it is valid.... But what if that was the reason to write the bible? to generalise so that each story or chapter would fit
into everyones life in the future?
Just food for thought!

The main reason is because some people are not thinking SPIRITUAL enough .
Spiritual people are thinking heaven as being a spiritual place ..possibly even in another dimension ..where physical carnal minded thinkers think it
is just above the clouds in space somewhere ..(and it really could be both ..you never know) ...........
Obviously all of this down here ..could very well have the same things going on up there (in other dimensions) ..
There really could be many dimensions and we are just a mirror of the others .
I mean who knows ....I do read New Agers ideas because no one (not even most Christians) think as spiritual as they do ..(even though they get carried
away with it sometimes) I think they are closer to finding out the truth than a carnal minded physical person who thinks of everything as just plain
black and white .......(if only the New Agers would see that those Alien friends and channelers do not have their best interest at heart) .......then
they would be well on their way to understanding more about whats out there ..(in those spiritual places) ........
Scientists etc ..can only put up a telescope and make guesses as to what is out there ..and really all they can see is INFINITY (which they say dont
exist ) .......and darkness everywhere (which they dont believe in either) except the bright stars and the planets etc (That appear to be empty of any
other race of people ..not even a live animal or two anywhere) .........maybe we are here alone ..except for the spiritual realm .....but they sure
wont ever come to that conclusion as long as they dont care to even think outside of this world .....not just out there above the clouds ..but out
there right here ..(spiritual realm that we cannot see .where there is life happening we just cant see it or hear it because we dont want to ..maybe
it is too scary for people to even think about ...that we dont control ANYTHING ...that is mans problem ..he is a control freak ..and after watching
everyone react to all that has been happening here lately (the recession, the loss of freedoms etc) they are starting to see that they arent as in
control of things in our world as they would like to believe .........and that scares them .....
I know you could care less about my 2 cents ..but there ya go ......

I think you have a real problem with Christians in general. Even though your post explained how two people can read the same passage, and come away
with complete different meanings, but if one is wrong in their interpretation that makes them a false prophet? The title of this thread is "Bible
filled with FASLE Prophets." So which is it that is false in your eyes? The messenger who brought the word or the one interpreting it?
I knew better than to come in to one of your threads because of your unquenchable desire to suckerpunch anything you don't agree with regarding
christianity, but here I am.
"Where there are two in a house, one will be taken and another one left."
Now that is a very familiar verse for all christians and most equate it to what they call the rapture. So what is it you are trying to point out?

If there were to in one house, that house being a church, and both read in that house from the same book: why was one taken and the other left?
A church is a house of god and that message is to the people of god although too many selfrightous little bitties would like to think they are the one
to be taken and their husband that stays home on sunday morings to watch sports it the one to be lift.
However that message was given to christians. Two christians would be in one house of god, both listening to the same words and both reading from the
same book. One is to be taken and another is to be left.
This is dew to personalized understandings. He who prays for clear eyes and an open heart to see and hear what God wills them to see will be the one
taken, but he who has a heart of boasting selfrightous thinkings that equate to the beastly animalistic egotistical nature will be rejected.
The beast is already within you. Only realizing it is there is cleaning the mud of evolution out of your spiritual eye.

It actually doesn't say anything about a house or a church. The correct uses are: 1. two walking in a field 2. two grinding at a mill and 3. two
sleeping in bed.
So no matter what it says your question, which is a fair one, would be - if two people are studying the same scripture how could anyone be left.
First of all it doesn't say, that both people are studying the same scripture. It only informs one of what they are doing at the time, a certain
event will take place. The idea that is connected with said event, is that many people (even up to half of the people) will not be paying much
attention, when the event happens - that is why he likens it to the days of Noah and of Lot. No one is paying attention.

Incarnated:
Prophecy as used in the Scriptures not only means making known the will of God generally, but rather the predicting of future events that could not
be known by human wisdom alone, but only by means of direct communication from God. The possibility of prophecy presents no difficulty if we allow
that God is a person and is possessed of omniscience. Hence, God may attest to his messengers by manifesting his omnipotence through them in
miracles, or his omniscience in wisdom. It is also probable that he should manifest his omniscience through them in predicting future events for the
same purpose.
The future is hidden from most of us. No one can know certainly by any human wisdom what tomorrow will bring. We may reason from existing causes or
past experiences that certain events are probable. Such predictions would be unlike the Bible prophecies since they would be little more than human
guesses. They also would lack validity and divine purpose.
In authentic prophecy, God reveals future events in his own unique way and to whomever his chooses to use for his purpose. Prophecy is not valid as
conclusive evidence for Christianity. The proof from prophecy is not dependent upon ancient testimony and the genuineness and credibility of the
historical writings transmitting such testimony to us, but is before our eyes in the present day fulfillment of various predictions of Scripture.
Another important consideration concerning the argument from prophecy is that it grows continually stronger during the years with every new
fulfillment.
A proper conception of the purpose of prophecy is helpful in accounting for the obscurity of some of it. Its purpose is not for furnishing detailed
plans for the future. Nor is is intended to be profitable only as Christian evidence to those who live after its fulfillment. It is to benefit those
who live before the occurrence of the events predicted by making known to them in broad general outline things to come. In this way the prophecies
encourage the hopeless and warn the careless to be prepared for the future. Examples of this purpose are the prophecies of Christ's first and second
advent. I think it should be remembered that biblical prophecy must be corroborated by holy conduct and doctrine already in harmony with divinely
revealed truth.
Within this context Bible prophecies may be classified as follows: Predictions (1) about Jews; (2) about Gentile nations; (3) about Christ's first
coming; (4) about the origin and history of God's kingdom; (5) about Christ's second coming.
In your post concerning where one will be taken away and one will be left, it really wasn't clear you were talking about the church. I do agree that
it has more to do with the spiritual growth and wisdom between the two people, as to who will be taken and who will be left. Or did I misunderstand
your point?
Peace,
Grandma

I've recalled hearing from one religious group a few years ago that they don't base their religion on their particular interpretations. It would
seem they don't waste time arguing about these and allow others to form their own opinions as if possibilites. I had heard the Jews also argue or
discuss these same things.
If the messiah figure was capable of doing some 'Jedi mind trick' than others would most likely see the same things and have the same emotions etc.
Revelations it would seem is when we finally find out 'exactly' what that truth was. A false prophet could be anyone that misinterprets these
stories incorrectly and claims it as if god's word.
I don't accept what many tell me, but have at times thought about it as a possibility. The messiah could be whomever supposedly 'returns' to tell
us what's really up there in heaven. Some believe it's only the knowledge of science. Science may lead us into the paranormal afterall.
The christ figure warned about the second death. That's suggestive also.

Good answer ......It is pretty obvious that people are unequally yoked right now (believer with unbelievers) and that those of our own household are
our worst enemies .Mat 10:36 And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household.....(they give you the hardest time as anyone about your beliefs
) and in the end of days when things really are happening even worse than now ..they may the be the first ones to turn you in to the athorities
(according to scripture ..brother against brother ..sister against mother etc) ........
Mat 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents,
and cause them to be put to death.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mar 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against [their] parents, and shall
cause them to be put to death.
Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to
death.
Notice it says friends ...brethren (other supposed believers) kinsfolks etc ..
will turn on you ....so yeah those of your own household (those you surround yourself with and those who live with you etc ) will be some of the ones
who will be left ..............
He was using that to give you a picture of how it will happen ..
two working in a field (at work) two sleeping at home (at home) and someone will be TAKEN OUT while the other will be left .....
I believe that not all Christians will be raptured ...obviously there are those who will be left here who are BACKSLIDERS or LUKEWARMERS and did not
get ready when the bridegroom called them to trim their lamps and prepare (thats what that is symbolic of ) get ye ready and be watching ..and pray
that you be accounted worthy to escape all the things coming on the earth ...
Mat 25:6 (about the bridegroom and the ten virgins 5 ready 5 were not ...(same thing as the verses yall are talking about) .....
Luk 12:37 Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and
make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of man.

But you're wrong there. No one has the same emotions. for some people the feeling when they see a dog is great love while others upon seeing a dog
get very afraid. Some places in the world see a dog and get hungry!
They've all seen the same dog and their emotions were NOT the same.
Let us say that the followers of chirst seen jesus turn the water into wine. One might associate it to a time in their childhood where they spilt wine
angering their parents and they'd think "I wish I could have done that" while another might see him doing it and be of a logical switch and wonder
what scientific events would have to happen to make water into wine.
Don't fool yourself. People are not the same unit.

Daniel's Prophesies all came true so far and he predicted the 4 empires correctly, and the book was written BEFORE those kingdoms/Empires as older
manuscripts of Daniel have been found. Daniel predicted the day of Christs birth, hence the Magi and their journey. Daniel predicted his death to a
tee. Daniel predicted the fall of he Pope and his rise back to the years they happened. Daniel still has a few predictions yet to come, and they
aren't the good ones for the earths inhabitants.
I would say there are a lot of false prophets but those that are of GOD are 100% accurate, or they arent of GOD...
EDIT - Oh yeah Daniel Predicted that Israel would be a Nation again and in ONE DAY. That happened in the late 40's, IN ONE DAY.

That's why I mentioned the "jedi mind trick" He would have to be pretty good to do the same to a crowd of people. And Yeah, I understand what
you're saying. But maybe they also believe in a majority who actually "get it"
Maybe that's what seperates many people and why only some are "chosen"......Do I like It? No. But the bible also mentions as if people will be
reprogramed. " And Ye shall be as children once again." or whatever.
I think it depends on the actual interpretation of the "means" ?
For the most part, the bible seems to be interpreted in several ways. Always something new it seems.
Yeah, a picture of a little girl playing with a puppy is also someone in China thinking about lunch.

I've seen people use the same tired old prophecies to both condem the catholoic church and the united states, along with every thing else but
themselves under the sun, so tell me how is it that so much of this "god's prophecy" can be blanketed across so many?

I cant quite figure out how the bible is filled with false prophets. You seem to suggest that actually the false prophets are those who have a wrong
understanding of the bible rather than those within the bible. This however would not fit your thread title.
I do however have some questions that may help to clarify where you are coming from. Do you believe that the words in themselves can carry a message
which can be understood in the way meant by the author, or do all words only gain a full meaning through the interpretation of the reader?
Do you believe that holding an incomplete understanding of something from the bible makes someone a false prophet?
If someone does not understand the bible, is that the fault of the reader or the fault of the author?
I'll leave it there for now.
Thanks

Exactly!
These are questions everyone should personally reflect upon before opening their mouths about the "Word of God".
Let us assume there is some actualized meaning under the words. If that comes from God, and you quote that scripture/statement wrongly according to
your own personalized biases, you are a false prophet because you've just blasphimed.
