Absolutely awesome, thanks for starting the thread. My hypothetical band would never work because of the strong my way or the highway work ethic most of the people in this band have... in fact someone would probably end up dead, but my ideal band based on my tastes would be.

Lead Vocals/songwriter: David Bowie

Vocals/Producer: Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)

Bass: Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

Guitar/songwriter/synthesizer: Mana of Malice Mizer Fame

Guitar/keyboard: James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins)

Drums: Cindy Blackman (Drummer for Lenny Kravitz)

Have no idea what they would be called, and there is no way it would work, but hey if it did, I would be in heaven.

The wouldn't mesh well together at ALL in the real world, but in my mind they are a band called Yahweh.
