Once again, perverts are being rounded up by the hundreds after busting what is being called the "Biggest Online Child-Porn Network" ever.

Here in Australia we have seen the arrest of people in positions of trust within the child-care industry as well as those in law enforcement.

What really makes me cringe is the fact that, as with previous child-porn busts, the majority of these animals will never see the inside of a cell. The'll receive a slap on the wrist and most likely turn up again when the next bust comes around.



This is big business. There is billions of $ supporting this industry.

You know, it kind of makes me wonder how the website 4chan stays up. From what I hear, child pornography is on there several times a day. If the FBI wanted to shut down 4chan, they would just have to spend a week on it, compile all the evidence they need, and shut it down, but instead, they don't even acknowledge its existence. It makes you wonder...

As far as these guys go, it's saddening that we have people out there that would support child pornography and actually "get off" to seeing little girls raped and tortured. I'm not sure if these guys will get of with just a slap on the wrist, but if they do, there's something wrong.

Getting busted with child porn is a big time felony, you get at least 10 years, sometimes 20 years, it depends on how many videos you have on you. I know of a retired Master Seargent from the Air Force, he served 21 years, and served in Vietnam during the war too, retired with honors and all that. He didn't have a record either, got caught with the videos because he was in one of those rooms trading like explained here, and had a couple on his computer. Now he is in some Penitentary in Tennessee or Kentucky, due to overcrowding in Virginia where I live, where this man was arrested. He is serving like .. 18 years I believe? They didn't give him ANY credit for his military service..

that has to suck, working for a country for two decades and then getting locked up over kiddie porn.

It is like ... just as bad in court as getting caught with a big ole shoebox full of category 1 felony drugs and individual baggies for sale.

4chan is abit more than that. Though from my visits to the site, most of the questionable pictures are from guys posting pics of their girlfriends from camera phones. Not to mention so much crap gets posted on that board everyday it would be impossible to sort everything out.

I don't mean to be rude by any means. I do love coming here for breaking news that fellow atsers put out....

but this is horrible...I personally hate seeing these kind of threads come up on (recent posts).
I have small kids and this isn't news....its just awful

Just shocking...but it is getting so f******ing typical, that the people caught hold respectable positions in society.

mongrels need to be castrated.

It is devistating, and unfortunate but folks, this kind of thing is occuring 24/7/365 all over the world. This one instance, is only a drop in the bucket to what is going on. I for one am glad it has been stopped.

But the reality is, for every one of these operations that are shut down, there are hundreds of thousands more still operating. Right now, as I typed this and as you are reading it, another child is being raped, molested, sold, kidnapped, and even killed.

It is a very sad side of humanity. But it is reality. And I am glad that more of these busts are being reported and told to the world. It needs the attention and it needs to be on the main radar. And if that does not happen, it basically gives these sickos more "cover" to continue their sick ways.

It all MUST be stopped!!!!

Perhaps this is the case in the United States (and I'm sure many in the US recieve lenient sentences, depending on their locality), but here in Oz, and in the UK sentences range from parole to a measley 3-5 years. Most of those that are imprisoned are released within twelve months.

I don't understand your point concerning the Vet you cited. Why should his military record be taken into consideration? Do you think his crime was lesser than a drug crime? He was perpetuating an industry that preys on children, some of which are babies.

18 years is lenient compared to what I think these creatures deserve.

I'm sorry to have put a horrible taste in your mouth. But, as a parent (as I am too), these crimes should be put up to public scrutiny as soon as they are discovered. Showing the perpetrators that we are refusing to turn a blind eye to their crimes out of distaste and placing it at the fore. People that are entering the child-care industry to prey on children is by far one of the most frightening things that will always be at the back of my mind when my boys reach pre-school age. As it is frightening that the people we tell our children to trust (police) are also involved.

To consider this being "not news" and as "just awful" is to misplace your disgust toward the message and not the criminals.

This sort of stuff just creeps me out. Children as young as 12 months, and videos as long as 2 hours. I just simply can not imagine the mentality that allows you to get turned on by images of babies being abused. When I first heard this report on the radio, I couldn't help but think about the poor sobs that had to sit and watch the videos compiling evidence.
Sometimes I am bewildered by the checks you have to go through just to work in a job even distantly related to children, but cases like this show you that all that is really necessary. At least these guys will be sorted out in jail.

Its not always "Girls" but "Boys" too, and sometimes the perpetrators are female.

Often as well in places like Thailand, the mothers are the ones "Selling" their daughters and sons to the Pimps and traffickers.

Personally I believe all persons who even show any in any way sexual, or emotional "High" or "pleasure" from the abuse of babies and children should be put into very secure Mental Health units, as having worked in the field years ago I know it is something that cant be "Cured" and never goes away.

They have personality & Mental health disorders and need the treatment, but also they need to be segregated from other vulnerable young men in the prison population who they may also abuse.

However as I have stated elsewhere I think the worlds Kneejerk reaction to this is interesting, is it peadophilia for a 16 yr old boy to have consensual sex with his 15 yr old girlfriend, if for all intents and purposes she is a woman in her body, and probably a lot more mature in here mind?
Where is the line of honest reaction to these dangers, should such a young man as has happened go on the Sex Offenders register?

I know though that any Adult going near any child or anyone under legal consent should be put under secure hospitalisation until it is deemed their behaviour is not a risk anymore.

And as you cant cure these desires they would therefore be out of society for life, unlike at the moment where they can serve a prison term and be set free.

It’s true that sometimes child porn is posted on 4chan, mostly done as trolling by some sick f*s, but the moderators delete it as soon as they see it, and permanently ban the posters. Contrary to popular belief, child porn (among other offenses) is not allowed on 4chan.

Also, the FBI (and other agencies) are aware of 4chan. They have asked for logs in the past, and I believe once or twice the servers were physically confiscated. My guess is most of the time they look at the logs for all pertinent information of people who posted child porn and other offenses.

Recently, the FBI and the Secret Service looked into 4chan when the login info and screenshots of Sarah Palin’s email account were posted.

Yep thats like, how hollyday islands in europe, have so many drugs, and every one knows it, but where are the busts. Them islands exist on drugs and clubbing, so how come if there is a war on drugs, how come those islands are not targeted, hmmm.

We are just run by real scum. Who on earth would want to watch this sort of stuff, and i think we would not be surprised to know that the police probably have the biggest stash of child porn there is.

I remember a few years back, the fbi did a sting in uk, or something for online child porn, and the higgest minority in that group where policemen. Just shows you.

I think most people are repulsed by this crime and though the penalties are stiff, a previous poster was accurate. For every person like the Master Sergeant there are literally dozens that plea bargain and weave their way through the system.

I was molested as a child and the person that raped me never served a day in jail. And a member of the church my wife attended from birth until she married me, was convicted of raping his own daughters. He got 15 years probation and never served one ******* day in jail!

This is so sad and infuriating all at once.
