Valhall's Rennes-le-Chateau Thread

<<  1    2  >>

Topic started on 10-12-2008 @ 08:04 PM by aecreate

Does anyone know the link to Valhall's "Rennes-le-Chateau" thread?
Yes, I've used the ATS search as well as google, and I can't find it
in RATS either..

I can only find a reference link in this thread,
but abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread179948/pg1 is a 404.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That thread was removed some time past.

Sometimes links will go to threads that no longer exist.

Sorry.

and Oh yeah sky. This not being allowed on RATS due to points is discrimination so let me in.

I,m sure ATS has fancy words but the fact is, its discrimination.

Thank you Skyfloating, I think you're correct.

For some reason I faintly remember Valhall having a habit of
removing some of her threads, and maybe this was one of them.
I'm probably wrong.

I knew I should have copied some of the information,
it was one of those threads that had a ring of truth to it..
its just been buggin me lately to read it again, like there's
something I missed.

Ah well, maybe it will show up another day.
Thanks again.

If you can earn RATS access, Tryptamines and God is totally worth it.

I suggest posting news items in the Breaking News Forum, you earn
more points from replies than you would in other forums, and try to
participate and contribute in threads authored by the Mods, sometimes
you'll get applause which are worth big points, and that's always nice.

Try this to get started.

Starting in the 1950s, a local restaurant owner, in order to increase business, had spread rumors of a hidden treasure found by a 19th century priest.[1] The story achieved national fame in France, and was then enhanced and expanded by various hoaxsters, who claimed that the priest, Father Bérenger Saunière, had found proof of a secret society known as the Priory of Sion. The story and society were later proven to be a hoax, but became the origin for hypotheses in documentaries and bestselling books such as Holy Blood Holy Grail and the fiction thriller The Da Vinci Code.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Look into joining twitter. One of our mods, asala, will give you 5000 points for joining there. It's the easy route.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

Your not discriminated against. That would mean a handicap.

You're points challenged.

1. No, there's no way to get it back. Once a thread is deleted, it's gone, period. End of Story.

2. Descrimination? Please say you're sarcastic. If not...I would love for you to find a lawyer who'd honestly think you had a case.

I think it was reported to be a ghost castle and had
some Tesla connection:
google search Rennes-le-Chateau tesla

Which I guess was so bogus they went on to place more bogus tesla pages
on the net to hide it.

Quite the way to keep net nicks busy.

Don't quote me on this but...

I don't believe Valhall purposefully deleted anything. I seem to remember some sort of glitch surrounding her account a while back. I remember she was having trouble posting and for some time her account name was changed to fishermanfred (I kid you not.) Seem to also recall she had some issues (like pressing wrong buttons or something*) when she was a supermod or admin but am not sure if any of this is related. I do remember that thread and it coincided, more-or-less, with the fishermanfred incident.

Did you try asking (via u2u) Valhall? If the thread was accidentally removed, it is possible she still has some or most of it saved somewhere. Is seems likely as it appeared she put a lot of effort into it.

(edit)*I just remembered: I think she may have accidentally banned herself (or was that another mod?)

I'm quoting you on that, Only because I believe you are correct about the glitches and the name change to fishermanfred. I might take up your suggestion of a u2u sometime tomorrow. Thank you for the memory jogger.

Rennes-le-Chateau: The Dossier, the Impostures, the Fantasies, the Hypothesis ... the time-travel and anti-gravity theories of famed inventor Nikola Tesla. ..

From one of the Google finds from the link in my last post.

I can't think of a similarity right now... something like "joining
the band wagon" of bogus literature.

The Alien and Tesla gold mine is only a few pages away.
