I don't think Obama is claiming he was unaware that there was corruption in Chicago Politics. He is saying that he was Unaware that Blago was selling
the seat.
This seems pheasable since it's publically known he was never fond of Blago and avoided him whenever possible.
It is possible that Blago in his attempt to sell the seat reached out to an Obama staffer, but that staffer would have looked to insulate Obama and
not communicated the same.
It's a mistake to assume that all Pols from Chicago are corrupt. Obama was well known in Chi-town for avoiding the "Machinery.
As far as an "Honest Politician"...Paul Simon from Illinois was one of my all time favorites and not just because of the Bow-tie

Fallacy or not... simple logic dictates that Obama was a part of this same machine for 7 years. Ergo, he IS GUILTY simply by his association with
these people. Nobody is going to convince me that he didn't know what was going on. PUH-Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!
What simple logic? I'm not following. You have a guy who has tried to insulate himself from dirty chicago politics and has managed to survive
DESPITE his reluctancy to participate in the network.
I can't believe that YOU as an AMERICAN would say someone was GUILTY based on baseless claims and before a jury in an actual court finds the man
guilty.
I guess that makes you GUILTY of TREASON, at least in my eyes. I mean... it's simple logic right? You want to say someone is guilty without due
process which is directly against the Constitution so you must be ANTI-AMERICAN right?
You see how your simple logic works?

So, the Due Process part of the Constitution is valid, because it can be used FOR Obama, but the question of Dual-citizenship v. natural-born citizen
(part of the Constitution) is not valid because it can be (possibly) against Obama.
Yeah, there's no double standard in play here.
So tell me, how exactly does someone who is a complete unknown rise up the ranks of a corrupt political system so fast - if that person is NOT part of
the corruption?
Hey, I'll be happy to believe it's on merits, show me the cases tried to support the "merits" argument

I think you actually believe that.
Obama is financially and politically connected to REZKO and Auchi.
His people are connected to Gov. Blago - Axelrod is closely connected.
He played the WRight game for 20 years for connections.
His wife got her position and 300K job bump when Obama got his senate seat.
To think that anyone can go through the Chicago poltiical layers as quickly as Obama and not play the poltiical/mob style game that is so entrenched
there is just turning a blind eye to reality.
Obama's Friends
Pay close attention to the Haywood, Gorman and Abbruzzese connection.
And the State Senate President Emil Jones (who blocks corruption inquiries) connection.
Obama’s Illinois Finance Chairman Billionaire James S. Crown – director of General Dynamics is a long time friend/financial supporter of Obama.

I don't see your point. The things you are pointing our have never actually come to trial.
What I am hearing is... Let's all say Obama is Guilty of something without a trial. And frankly... I'm sick of it. It's anti-american to say
someone is guilty without a trial.
Now it's a completely diffieren thing to say "I have serious doubts and concerns so I would like a trial on this".

So when someone is caught in the act of say... LYING. It's wrong to say they are guilty of lying because there was no court case?
I don't for one minute think that the Illinois investigation is finished, we don't yet know what will ultimately come from it - unless your crystal
ball is warmed up.
Everyday people say "so and so is guilty of ________ (fill in the blank)" without a court deciding it.
Guess what, that is a person expressing their opinion. If you are sick and tired of the semantics of an opinion, become a teacher and teach children
how to properly express themselves. Because believe me, without a serious paradigm shift, the way people express themselves is not going to change

Ya know.. until a court decides.. the guy is allegedly guilty.
Even if there are tapes... thats where entrapment and all sorts of things play a part in the decision of guilt.
You never hear anyone with any reputable place in society say someone is guilty without a trial... only the uneducated and emotionally charged.
completely unrelated...
Btw, I don't believe you are guilty of practicing the legemeton, just because you have a sigil based avatar. Maybe you just like esoteric art.

listen. obama was in a church for 20 years that preached white hate and anti american values. no trial is needed for that. it is anti american for
obama to deny he ever heard something in that church when everyone knows he did. same old politics

Interesting Flyers...I have seen this racist line of attack in right wing blogs and articles...do you have source with regards to Michelle Obama being
an affirmative action candidate at Princeton?
She attended Whitney Young High School, Chicago's first magnet high school, where she was on the honor roll four years, took advanced placement
classes, was a member of the National Honor Society and served as student council treasurer.
And I am sure Princeton just hands out Magna Cum Luade to every graduate.
What about her JD from Harvard...was that some kind of hand out as well?
This line of attack on Michelle Obama is a little silly and a little gross.

Hmm, in the 80's an Ivy league school and you need a source for affirmative action? While while it does not come right out and CLEARLY STATE that
Michelle Obama was an affirmative action candidate, The Daily Princetonian doesn't even
try to deny the fact affirmative action was an issue and reality of the times.
Her freshman class had just 94 black students out of a total of 1,141. It was a transitional time at Princeton, and though the number and
visibility of minority students had increased, the resources and support for them didn’t keep pace.
“In the ’70s, when there were few blacks, people looked at it as an anomaly,” Robinson-Brown said. “In the ’80s, there was more of a
critical mass of black students, and I think that provoked more white students to be expressive about our presence on campus and issues like
affirmative action.”
And the article is quite nice to Michelle Obama, so if it's gonna be considered biased, then it's biased FOR her

for the Feds working on this!!
