Let me guess, he is going to publicly deny that he was ever a candidate, and he has nothing to do, whatsoever, with the Illinois pay-to-play game.
What do you think?

This im not to sure of, I havent heard much of Jr. till recently. I dont know what type of politican he is. But with the corruption in that states
politics I can only imagine. Jackson attorney who spoke a short time ago didnt deny that Jacosn was candiate number 5 but doesnt believe there was any
wrong doing?
The feds have tapes of conversations, is there one of Jackson as well do you think?

I wonder how many of the Supreme Court Justices are watching this developing situation closely? They may be more inclined to cause a huge political
mess if they feel it is warranted.
I would not be surprised if the Clintons, especially Bill, use this to Hillary's advantage and to get even.
This could get real interesting and Obama hasn't even been inaugurated yet.

First, the man(Obama) rose through the ranks of the Chicago political machine an yet he claims that he had no clue about "pay to play."
Second, as the article points out that there is plenty of evidence proving that he knew what was going on and not only knew but maybe participated in
it.
So what happens if Obama's wife is implicated in this? Does it tie Obama directly into this or not? I'm assuming it does seeing how it was his
political position that brought the treasure so to speak.
I was thinking about this when I was watching the FBI give press for this issue when he said Obama is not implicated, but at the same time he said
that some people are going to be black and white and some people in the gray.
Personally, I think the Feds are investigating the Obama's, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Yes remember when the took Rezko out,
They said nothing implicted, Blagojevich, in any wrong doing, LOLOLO
One down number two, Obama , to go.

Why is everyone surprised by all this? Does anyone here think that
politicians rise up through the ranks without granting political favors
and deals? Why do people call them crooks and then act appalled
when they fulfill our expectations? I assume in the voting booth that
every candidate I vote for has done shady things past/present/future.
Obama and Bush included.
The important thing for voters is to not give the politicians power over
your day-to-day life. Control your own destiny and you can laugh at
these "scandals", just like I'm doing now while listening to WLS Chicago
talk radio on the headphones while typing this. Good advice my friends!

Liars liars pants on fire.
Now if we could only get the FBI to go after the same type people in Washington we would be making some great progress. I am sure that they also use
the pay to play system.

Union Official Allegedly Liaison Between Governor, Obama Team
Among the revelations contained in the complaint brought against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich yesterday was the description of an official with
the Service Employees International Union acting as an apparent intermediary between the governor and Barack Obama's camp in discussions over
Obama's Senate seat. With organized labor holding such high expectations for the Obama administration -- notably, hopes for legislation fiercely
opposed by business leaders that would make it easier to form unions -- officials of other unions were hoping yesterday that the SEIU's apparent
involvement in the Illinois scandal would not undermine their cause in Washington.
The U.S. attorney's complaint states that Blagojevich mused aloud with his advisers about the possibility that he could seek a high-paying job with
Change to Win, the coalition of seven unions -- dominated by SEIU -- that broke away from the AFL-CIO in 2005. Blagojevich and his chief of staff
wondered aloud about a "three-way deal" in which he would appoint Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett, a Chicago businesswoman believed to be the woman
identified in the complaint as "Candidate 1," to Obama's Senate seat; Blagojevich in return would become Change to Win's executive director; and
Obama would reward Change to Win with pro-labor policies.
The complaint also states that on Nov. 12, Blagojevich spoke by phone with an "SEIU official" who was in Washington and with whom Blagojevich had
met a week before on the understanding that the official was an emissary to discuss Jarrett's interest in the Senate seat. In the conversation, the
SEIU official is alleged to have said that Obama now wanted Blagojevich to consider candidates other than Jarrett.
Valerie Jarrett is the top bananna when it comes to Obama, they call her the other half of Obama's brain.

It has been widely suspected that the Clinton's have something on Obama. I have read that Hilary and company may have uncovered some of Obama's
skeletons during the Primaries. Hence, her appointment to SOS. We'll see how this plays out. The Clinton's do not like to lose to anyone. They
march to the beat of their own drummer. Always have and always will.

Obama never seems to know what is going on around him just like he was not aware of Rev. Wrights racist comments even though he was a member of his
church for 20 years.
His inexperience is showing. He can't get his story straight with his own people.
Senior adviser David Axelrod on November 23rd 2008 Fox News -
"I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of
them."
Barak Obama on December 9th 2008 - "I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening."
Get ready for 4 years of "I do not recall" and "I misspoke about that".

This is true. And how scary that a man that will be President of our country is soooooooooooo clueless and ignorant about his surroundings and
associates. Seriously! Ive never seen a person with so many excuses for so many things surrounding him.
Either that or he is a liar.
Obama suffers from the well known "it wasn't me" or "i didn't know" syndromes. You see it often in children who get caught in something bad.
What a mess and what a shame.

No matter who would have won, there would be an issue...just takes some time to realize this, as the system is all we have known.
but slowly people are understanding that if something doesnt work - then 'real change' must take place...and this change can only happen 'within'.
(No body can fix anyone or anything external to them).

This could turn out really well if there are actual voice recordings and tapes involved.
Maybe we can get rid of the Obama's and Jessie Jackson all in one shot.
One can only hope

Get rid of them, but replace it with what?
We have to stop looking for things external to us to fix us.
We can get along well enough as individuals...no need for a CEO of a country.
