So I was doing some reading on old political cartoons, which in my personal opinion usually tell more truth than our history books, when i came across
this little gem:
upload.wikimedia.org...
Now, some of you will look at this photo and think "What's so special about this?" Allow me to direct you to the text in the left hand side of that
cartoon, where it speaks about the war department. You will notice 2 things, the first one being the A in war department strangely looks like a
freemason square and compass.
"Oh Sandman692, you're just seeing things, you crazy redneck!" is probably what some of you are saying to yourself, but why is it that that A is
drawn the way it is, and every other letter there is perfectly drawn? The cartoonist would not have done that accidentally, so that A is there for a
reason.
Secondly, and more noticably so, there is also a square and compass at the top of the same poster.
What is it that the artist is saying here? Is he openly stating the power that the freemasons had at that time? Could it have been an accident that
every letter in the poster is perfect except the A in War Department?
I for one am glad i found that at least there are some people in this world that openly spoke the truth.
