NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has discovered carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet orbiting another star. This is an important step along the trail of finding the chemical biotracers of extraterrestrial life as we know it.

YOU CAN READ THE FULL STORY.

So after all even the little scientific evidence we have, shows that there is extraterrestrial life.

- according to statistics in an infinite universe this was already a fact.

The existance of CO2 doesn't prove that there is life, only the possibility. It is an organic compound, which makes this such an exciting discovery. It always amazes me that we can ascertain compositions of extrasolar planets.

Really chuffed we show that, but how. Know planets have moons and we can read them. How long till we know we have the building blocks of life somewhere. For you doubters, the UV will take care of the rest and even necessitate meiosis. No theory, no good genes in or bad out, just UV.
