What exactly are you asserting? That Obama is involved in the sale of his soon-to-be vacant seat? Care to provide sources, or do you just really WANT this to be the case? Because I've seen nothing indicating it in what I'VE been reading....

as of now obama's people are saying they had no knowledge of any wrongdoing by blagojevich. supposedly blagojevich was putting the illinois senate seat up for the highest bidder. do you think obama will pardon him?????

I am not insinuating anything about his seat....I am talking about his property dealings and Michelle's with Rezco....once you dip your hand in the paint, it is tainted.

The campaigns should tell you that if anything, most Obama supporters are going to give the man a pass at any wrongdoing that doesn't directly affect them.

Is it going to raise the price of gas? Is it going to raise taxes? Is it going to raise the cost of food? Is it going to fix or hurt the economy?

Answer no to all of those and people won't care. And then they'll gang up on the whistleblower for daring to paint the "messiah" in a bad light because God knows that he's the only one that can save this country /* blatant sarcasm off */. What, you would dare to remove the nation's first black president over a few ethics violations!? How DARE YOU!!!!

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that a politician has a murky past and skeletons in several cupboards. Just look at the Clinton and Bush families.

Seriously, does anybody these days expect honesty and integrity from those selected by the old boy networks that rise to powerful office? You don't even get a sniff at higher office without greasing the right wheels and accepting donations from the right special interest groups and corporations, who all do so with the expectation that the favour will be returned when the markers are called. That is what politics is all about. Sure, it's dirty and dishonest but it goes with the territory and those participating have to have a ruthlessness and dishonest nature if they strive to reach the top.

Obama, by record, is considered to be extremely liberal. He shifted towards the center to get himself elected. He has remained towards the center ever since. This is reflected in his staff appointments and policy issues. If he goes back to his far left roots he is doomed.

As far his connections to Blago go, only time will tell. Rahm, Resko, and Axlerod have connections to Blago. Just like a big game of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

I find it rather odd that two recent statements by those in Obama's employ have been retracted.

Is this a sudden case of senility in two different people regarding Blago and Obama?

Has anyone heard Obama speak on this issue? I have...and everytime he has spoke he was stumbling and stuttering so bad, I actually felt sorry for him. I mean Bush looks like a poet next to Obama.

The media is doing its best to cover for him...NBC even refuses to call Blago a Democrat. Something stinks in Obama's Chicago and it's not the Bears.
