Maybe it is just me...............but I don't understand what this means at the top of a post......EXAMPLE: posted on 093131p://41089 @ 09:41 AM

I know it used to be a date I comprehended so I knew how old a thread was......but I can't make heads or tails out of this current dating system...

I mean just LOOK at the so called ~DATE~ of this very post
~~~~posted on 113131p://551211 @ 11:55 PM~~~~
Which post did you see that on? I'd like to look at it. It may possibly be an error. The post above looks normal to me.
Oh dear. You broke it...
When did the problem start?
Make sure the date format in your memcenter is correct. It should either be something like mm/dd/yyyy or you can leave it blank. When you put strange characters in there it will break...
Your post itself looks fine; however, your edit reads "[edit on 123131p://581212 by theRiverGoddess]".
I see that every once in awhile, but only in peoples' edit lines. I'm not sure what causes it, but I can say that you're not crazy & hallucinating, or that we're both a bit crazy with hallucinations at times.
Well I know that every so often I have to go into memcenter to change my time zone back to GMT0... Every so often I go in there and find it at GMT+7 or something. Wonder if thats related.
By the way, I have found documentation of all the characters that can be used in the "Date Format" box in MemCenter:
us3.php.net...
For example, I have set my Date Format to "D, M j Y" (without the quotes), and my date strings look like this:
Which is handy, to see the month spelled out, and with the day of the week, too.
You definitely have some kind of jibberish in the date settings part of your member center if I had to guess.
Go to your Member Center (when you don't have a new u2u in your box) and go down to the submit button. Now look up a few lines to where it says
Date Format (mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yy, etc):
Type the word weird into that field.
Then click this link and look at the date on that post.
It will say the following:
After you do that, just type D M j Y in there (copy and paste it just like that) and it will display the way Ian just showed us (which I love and am now using). Make sure you click submit when you're done.
PS. I have the answer.
The dead give away is the p://
thats the end of an http://
you put your avatar address in the wrong field at some point.
Wow, you can learn so much from this.
us3.php.net...
I think this explains why certain things on ATS display a date in 1969.
Now and Then & Ian, I fixed it, I really did
.....and once it was corrected ALL the messed yp dates changed into the way they are supposed to be, (fixed) so you can no longer see what was going on....you MUST rely on the copy pastes....as they have been fixed since stated above.
Hey Vagabond nice to see you
I messed up my time/dates, with avatar gibberish.....in my haste to post the cheerful Holiday Commode.
Move along nothing to see here...........
