I knew I wasn't going crazy. It is going pretty crazy.

Very frustrating when you want to copy and paste and can't see the box. Also, rebooting is getting very old fast.

Thanks for checking in, SO. I'll try to be more descriptive.

I don't pay much attention to the banners and ads, so I'm no help there.

On both computers (running different operating systems and browsers) I have had consistent problems with right-clicking. I will either get nothing and it will lock up or I will get the outline of the box (that gives you the options like opening in another tab, etc.). I am often unable to scroll down the page using the scroll bar, mouse, or arrows. I'm not sure if it's just locking up at this point or something else. I have also opened a thread in another tab and then have been unable to select that tab.

I have had another problem with mainly the one computer. A few times I have been unable to select (left-click) on anything (threads, forums, posts). It's like it doesn't even recognize that the cursor is there.

This has been happening very regularly. As I said in my previous post, I am on the site several times a day but often do not log in. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Often the side banner ad will show nothing but a white box and the top banner would be loaded but stuck, at this point the entire browser is frozen. Once I just let it sit for awhile but it did not do anything so I restarted the browser.

Not sure if that is the cause tho..ie the side banner ad. But will try to see if I can notice anything more specific.

Cheers!!!!

Good evening Jam. I did have several problems after letting Firefox update to 2.0.0.18. The screen was jumping up and down, much like a much earlier Firefox version had done. It had been fixed in that early release, but the problem occurred on 2.0.0.18 again. In addition, I couldn't open the full standard version of gmail, only the HTML version, another known problem with the .18 release, so I backed off to 2.0.0.17 and turned off automatic update, and have no problems anymore. I tried several times to re-install .18 with updates, but gave up, when the same problems appeared again, so I'm staying on .17 for awhile. It seems like the Firefox people have gotten rather sloppy lately with their new releases.
