December 8th.

Not to be overly dramatic, but this is a day that I find myself down at times if left alone in thought. Needless to say I am a huge John Lennon fan and believe that he alone was making this world a better place. He was on the road back from terrible alcohol and drug abuse and putting together amazing music. Coming on the end of the time that we had with John, he was less controversial but was still the same old John that we knew and loved.

In the time that we did share with him, he made a difference. And we can only be left to wonder how much more he could have done if given the opportunity.

28 years ago today the world lost one of its' best.

The world needs more people like John Lennon. He means a lot to me, and today I found myself a lot like chissler. He made the world a better place. He still has a profound impact today.

Rest In Peace
and Love

Silver beatles and yellow submarines and lonely hearts club bands.

Martinis and sorrow.

"...now I'm reborn
I was the Walrus
But now I'm John
and so dear friends
you'll just have to carry on
The Dream is over" -Lennon

I never owned an album, and yet, much of how I think and feel is the result of the message (a message) and lessons delivered by way of the Beatles, not John Lennon, per say, though this is his day, of memory. Worded perfectly below, a tribute:

"There were bells on a hill
But I never heard them ringing
No I never heard them at all
'Til there was you

Then there was music and wonderful roses
They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows of dawn and you
There was love all around
But I never heard it singing
No I never heard it at all
'Til there was you
'Til there was you"-Meredith Wilson

Rest in Peace and wander with happy thoughts.
The world misses it's heros.
