During the Afghan-Soviet war, the CIA, the ISI and the saudis came up with the plan of using fundamentalist islam to inspire the locals and foreign arab recruits to bleed the soviets. The saudis provided the cash, the CIA the weapons and the ISI the training. After the war everything remained the same except the CIA. So with the terrorist infrastructure in place, the ISI used this to bleed India of which the Mumbai attacks are an example and the chief architect of this policy was Hamid Gul. He is about to be designated as an international terrorist by the UNSC and hence all the interviews with his crackpot views.
He has been ascribing all terrorist related activites to CIA-Mossad-RAW connection without offering even a plausible explanation. The only place where his views are considered sacrosanct are in Pakistan because the Pakistanis are living in denial about terrorist activites originating from there and they have made it a fine art about denying and deflecting blame, propagating such bizzare conspiracy theories and hoodwinking the americans into pumping more money of which a substantial portion is siphoned off for defense spening and terrorist activities against america and it's allies.
Your tax dollars are being spent by Pakistan and the ISI with the expert help of people like Hamid Gul with a visceral hatred towards anything which is American. Israeli or Indian to carry out terrorist activities against your country and it's allies.
