I find this incredible. The Prime Minister, The Home Secretary do not want to condemn the police for the reasons of neutrality and then stamp on a full six hour debate. Do the terms 'in it' and 'up to their eyeballs' and 'corrupting the police' come into it? Because they are at least apologists, and the leaks were embarrassing them no one else.

This means they'd have to admit they told them they could in the first place..... Then it would be hold on to your bobby socks we have been found out!!!!!

So through the sancitity of thw whips office it goes.... That just gives the game away.... oh well.....
