Ok I was just watching TV when I just saw a very large flash go over the sky. It looked an awful lot like lightning, and I thought that is what it was because its cloudy, but on the radar maps, nothing is going on. Nothing t all. But this flash was very bright, and it did cover a good portion of the sky like lighnting. But no thunder and no storms anywhere nearby. Anybody else see this thing or notice something earlier? I'm stumped and intreguied.
Maybe it was a transformer explosion, but I doubt it. Another meteor perhaps? If anyone knows something or saw it, ket me know!

I didn't hear anything after it. It was quite strange. A bright flash in the clouds like lightening, but no storms anywhere nearby.
