"SARGHODA: Emergency has been declared at Shorkot and Sarghoda airbases on Sunday after India violated Pakistan air spaces twice on Saturday by sending its fire jets.

According to sources, Indian Air Force sent its fighter jets into Pakistan air spaces on Saturday in Lahore and Kashmir areas which were forced to go back by Pakistani fighter jets."

Testing out Pakistans defences/reslove??

Testing where and how long before intercepters come up?

Preparing for?

This can't do much to help regional stability.

"LAHORE/RAWALPINDI: Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets intruded into Pakistan’s airspace twice on Saturday, drifting some four kilometres inside the Kashmir and Lahore sectors, Geo News reported.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighters, already in the air as part of Air Defence Alert mission (Combat Air Patrol), rushed to counter the threat in the Kashmir and Lahore sectors, forcing the Indian warplanes to flee back to their airspace.

The IAF first violated Pakistan’s airspace at 11:30 am, entering Azad Kashmir from the north in the Lipa sector. This intrusion was countered by the PAF interceptors. The next IAF adventure was in the Lahore sector at 1:30 pm. Again the PAF interceptors on the Air Defence Alert mission scrambled to Lahore, forcing the Indian fighter jets to retreat.

Wow! The Indian Air Force were chased away? Turned and ran for their lives??
The Pakistani media makes it look as if the Indian Air Force is a WWII vintage force equipped with TBFs and Marauders, Spitfires and Hurricanes!!

Heck, the Indian Air Force is equipped with some of the most sophisticated fighter aircraft in the world, for Chrissake! So were they 'chased away' or were the IAF on a probing mission that returned after completing its mission of graduated escalation and testing Pakistan's responses?

It's an open secret that till last year, Indian MiG-25s regularly overflew Pakistan taking imagery of all vital assets having strategic value as well as keeping a tag on Pakistani troop movements. There was not even a whine from them as these aircraft were beyond their missile/radar range flying at altitudes much higher than any of their aircraft could ever reach! After all, not many aircraft can cruise at 90,000 feet!

They were doing this with impunity, but the Pakistani media never went to town about these incursions to avoid embarrassment due to their incapability of taking any retaliatory action. And needless to say, they could not provide proof, visual, photographic or radar due to the reason mentioned above.

Of course, it's not happening now as the MiG-25s had been phased out last year. Indian satellites probably do the job now which is much cheaper than the gas guzzling MiGs.

Cheers!

Understand that chased off is a short explanation.

Most likely, It was two Indian planes which were intercepted by 4-10 Pakistani planes.

That is why they were "chased out" and left-"MOST LIKELY"!!!!

Seem's the incursions by India "MIGHT" be preparing for a real attack.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Now, is the attack going to be punitive????

Will the attack be in the "LAWLESS" area's on the border of Pakistan/Afanistan???

If case 2, will the US provide targets/locations/satilight location?

WIll the US partisipate in the raid????

Will the US take advantage of this and do some really good attacks at the same time???

"Pakistan 'linked to 75% of all UK terror plots', warns Gordon Brown"

"Gordon Brown demanded "action, not words" from Pakistan yesterday, blaming Pakistani militants for last month's attack on Mumbai and revealing that three quarters of the gravest terror plots under investigation in the UK had links to Pakistan.

Winding up a two-day tour of Afghanistan, India and Pakistan, the Prime Minister urged Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan's President, to "break the chain of terror" linking Islamist militants in Afghanistan and Pakistan to attempted terrorist attacks in Britain."
Times Online

Is England/UK/EU going to be "playing" in Pakistan???

Will they be assisting India? Info/radar/sat. images........... much less actual hardware and people to use it.

Would they attack the lawless border where the terrorists hide/train???

We have not seen any word from China or Russia on this issue.

Btw, why did Russia send it's ships to that area, instead of Cuba?? (because there is an actual threat there?)

Btw, how does that relate to Russian bomber almost entering English airspace with their bombers?

Russia has been pushing at the borders of the UK with bombers for many months now, diplomatic relations are at a big low since Britain demanded Russia hand over the persons suspected of the polonium 210 poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko and Russia refused.

Actually, I was implying something different.

I meant to imply that If UK/EU support India, Russia may support Pakistan just to be opposed to EU/US.

The UK would be very unwise to openly support India against Pakistan. In some areas of the UK there is a high proportion of Muslim immigrants and there would be rioting in many places, mind you saying that, I've never accused the government of intelligence or common sense, so who knows. I just hope our esteemed leaders can just for once do the right thing and mind their own business and stay out of it.
