U.S.S. Liberty : Forgotten False Flag OP.

June 8th, 1967 the U.S.S. Liberty was ordered to the Eastern Mediterranean waters by President Johnson to collect electronic intelligence data during the Six-Day War between Israel and Arab nations. Flying her colors and clearly marked as a U.S. Naval ship , the Liberty was attacked by three unmarked Israeli fighter bombers strafing the ship with Napalm and Phosphoreous bombs. Once a distress call was sent to the carrier fleet , the planes were recalled by the White House. One can only imagine what went through these sailors minds as our Navy was given a Stand-Down order, and not protect the Liberty being attacked in international waters. I will never forget what the military-industrial complex attempted to do to the USS Liberty and her crew.

The only reason it gets overlooked is because they failed to get us into a war, and it may very well have been because of the presence of a little Russian fishing trawler (actually a Soviet SIGINT collection ship) which they discovered had monitored the entire event and could have easily blown the charade out of the water (pun intended).

The Soviets (our cold-war enemies at the time) unwittingly saved the lives of hundreds of US military personnel who had been slated for 'sacrifice' in the name of a war that would have cost us billions more in dollars to the corporate vampires, and thousands of American lives. Irony at it's best.

Yes that Russian trawler saved the lives of the remaining sailors , not to mention the thousands more had we gone to war. Point is the military-industrial complex is still at work with 'False-Flag' operations such as 9/11 and the recent publicised plan by Cheney to have U.S. Navy Seals dressed in Iranian uniforms , attacking ships in the straight of Hormuz to justify attacking Iran.

A more balanced and perhaps, more insightful documentary to watch concerning the events of USS Liberty can be found here..

It explains in part, about “Operation Cyanide, and more worrying, “Condition November", the deployment of 2 bombers being sent out to Egypt as retaliation for the attack on the USS Liberty, only these bombers were armed with Nukes!.

Thank you for the reference link. (I shudder to think where we would be today if they had sunk the Liberty.)
