Court victory over 'innocent' DNA samples

A landmark legal ruling today could force the Government to remove samples of hundreds of thousands of people from the national DNA database.

A test case heard at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) may result in a radical overhaul of the database, which currently includes all DNA evidence taken during criminal proceedings in England and Wales.

Its about time common sense and right prevailed. How could the Police, Goverment or anyone justify the keeping of such personal deatails of innocent people on record is disgraceful. Lets hope that this will be one of the many nails in the coffin of the big brother state that wants to spy on us all.

And also it will stop the Police menatlity of seeing everyone as criminals, some who have just not committed a crime yet in their perverted view.
