Bombs, explosions, fire fire fire!! Then the last Imam will finally be revealed as none other then Ronald McDonald or Walt Disney. No, Really! Remember the Burt is Bad campaign a few years back? That was to distract you from the real baddies.

Ok, maybe should not joke about that, but...Israel is gonna go for it in my opinion. They cannot allow a nuclear capable Iran, neither can the region. However, when this goes down, it is gonna go down BIG. It will not be another Sirian Strike that went unanswered. Just look at where Sirian, Lebenon, Iranian and Egyptian Forces are at this moment. They are waiting for Israel to do something so they can press the button.

Iran is too powerfull for isreal to take on without either american backing or them using nukes...yes israels tech is more advanced but iran still has a good military and when you compare sheer land size and population..israel would be over run eventually due to sheer numbers...if they dont use nukes...

There will be no conventional war between them. This is just propaganda over and over again.

However there is a different war being fought right now and that is oil war in terms of oil prices. Iran depends on oil exports and they have been manipulating the oil prices to bankrupt iran so they will have to at the end suspend their so called "nuclear weapons" program.

Thats just my opinion. But i would love to see Israel get its ass kicked by Iran.

Make ammends with your god (if you believe in one) and start making peace with friends and family. Sure, we can try and get together and try to stop things here in the US (If people weren't so dang apathetic) but there isn't much we can do about the Israel/Iran situation from here.

There won't be a war between them. All it is is BS information.

I think I kinda understand or at least see Israel is growing more and more toward it's own concern re safety for the people.

Attacking Iran is a big deal, a very big deal.
And in doing so, a bunch of oil money of money will be owed to Russia, Iran's primary financial sponsor and debtor.

If Russia should decide to retaliate after Israels attack on Iran -- shoot this could lead to total escalation......Russia would loose but the northern hemisphere will pay aa tactical loss, through big-time human casualties, I feel

The plans have been drawn up for quite a while, I'm sure. The U.S. has already delivered 5 bunker busters, as the strike was already to have happened this past summer but Bush would not permit it to go down during his last few months in office. He denied Israel permission to fly through Iraqi airspace in order to execute the attack.

A few quick opinions.

Israel does not bluff, in fact they have a history of preemptive attacks against quite a few Arab countries.

The U.S. will not participate in the initial attack, but they will be quick to knock down any other country who tries to step in to defend Iran.

I hate to even imagine this scenario but if our president is reluctant to provide Israel with the support they desire, I suspect that the Mossad would have the perfect opportunity and the means to "replace" the sitting commander in chief under the pretext of some crazy American racist.

I have never been a "Bush knew" 9/11 person, but after how quickly the story of the Israelis here on student visas who were filming the attack as it happened and all of them failing lie detector tests was swept away I believe Israel had a major role in the attacks. Whether it be enabling in some way or simply just letting it happen I feel they surely had some kind of knowledge that was not passed on. I mean, why the hell would they even let Bin Laden even exist. They have never had a problem going after any other Muslim who preaches death to Israel.

Get their asses kicked just like they did in the Seven Day War?

I can only think of about 4 countries (USA, China, Russia.... hmm only 3)that can kick Israel's ass. I doubt any of them will get involved.

There is a chance that Exxon would pay for the fuel necessary to take Israeli F-16's to the Iranian nuclear plant and back. Some hoopla taking place in an oil-producing country would prop the declining oil prices for a while.

The Israelis once trashed a nuclear reactor under development in Iraq, so they have some experience with stuff like that. The strike is viable, because flying over US-occupied Iraq doesn't pose a problem. Actually the Israeli fighter jets can refuel over Iraq if needed.

Obama is likely to give the Israelis go-ahead, even though he was once a Muslim.

Israel actually might strike Iranian nuclear sites - though there are several places to strike all well defended, i do not understand how it will be done. And it will definitely bring "nice" regional war. But this strike will not happen before February due to elections and inner instability in Israel. Such a decision will need support of majority of Israeli public and current ruling party did very poorly in Second Lebanon war that they are responsible for together with Hizbollah. As for plans - those are surely prepared. Huge step from plans to real actions.

I don't see Israel making any moves against Iran without US assistance and compliance. Even if it were true that Israel went at it alone the Iranians would point to the US as being complicit in one area or another. The only isue up for debate right now is probably letting the Israelis cross over Iraqi airspace. The US is going to be more than happy to have Israel do the dirty work and is only being hesitant at this point because they know they will have to deal with the backlash equally.

I just don't see the USA or Israel seriously letting Iran go nuke. There will be some big stuff going down on this. If one doesn't do it the other will, I mean even Saudi may do it lol! Of all the nations involved maybe Saudi has most to lose by Iran going nuke.

It's only a matter of time. The 3rd installment of the world war will rage over the next 4 years some time. It's only a matter of time.

It would be an intresting twist if the war happened before other natural events in this 2012 phenomenon.

No, you can't ask the public for some support, because that would alert the Iranian air defense and there would be no way to get through; the AWACSs would go up 24/7. I think the Iranians bought them from the Russians.

If the Israelis go, it woud be Sunday. There are Russian experts helping the Iranians to build the nuclear plant, and so you don't want to create unecessary problems.

The Iranians couldn't really retaliate, because there is Iraq between Israel and Iran. Maybe they would give some cash out of desperation to bin Laden to take down the Sears Tower. He knows how.

You're right that Israel does this stuff on Sundays. They did the same thing with Iraq's reactor.

Of course Iran could retaliate, once the US gets out of the way. I mean, really, Iraq is pretty weak, and there's no way they could handle Iran.

Very unlikely scenario. The USA has struggled for five years to install a pro-US government in Iraq. The Iranians would have to plan an all-out attack on Israel from the Iraqi territory and the Iraqi government would obviously decline the proposal. If Iraq would get attacked, the USA would get involved and there would be not much left from the Iranian forces to attack Israel.
