I thought the readers here at ATS might find this interesting.
Here in Washington state where I live there has been a lot of news coverage regarding cut backs to law enforcement due to budget short falls.
As the economy worsens and jobs and money dry up it would seem to be a rather bad time to reduce law enforcement.
Are we as Americans at the point where we need to be prepared to rely more on ourselfs and less on the police for our own protection?
Are you in a position to protect you and yours?
Do you believe an armed population is a good idea?
