And that sites theory differs from catchpenny...how?
It shows that other sites have talked about palimpsests, not just catchpenny. Here are other sites discussing palimpsests, though not specific to
Abydos...
Palimpsest, Excavation, Grafitti, Simulacra: An Ethnography of the Idea of Egypt
The South Wall Palimpsest
THEBAN TOMBS PUBLICATION PROJECT
Thus there are other examples of palimpsests out there. But of course, you already know that, since you don't let others do your thinking for you.

Would you please in your own words tell me how this information "proves" beyond doubt that we are not looking at a helicopter, tank and
submarine.
And why exactly this "overlapping" of hieroglyphs cannot be found anywhere else in the sethos temple.
And maybe also, why you never seem to post in favor of any UFOlogical theory. A bit one-sided, no?

One example, which may not even be an example. And you use it as an umbrella indictment against all skeptics in the thread, accusing them all of

Im quite certain sock puppets are used here regularly, from all sides of the fence. However, in this thread it happened to be from the skeptics side.
I pointed it out which results in you asking me to step down as a Mod.

I dont think there is any "official" site or publication from "official" sources that describes this overlaying of glyphs. And your right, there
isnt any other glyph that has this "overlaying" at Abydos or anywhere else.
IMO, the overlaying theory is just an attempt to overlay BS onto the truth. Those glyphs represent a time long before, they refer to "the first
time" and were symbols of a period of history 25 thousand + years before.
There is so much history un-accounted for and as more archeology digs are done, the pieces are starting to fill those voids, and they paint an
entirely different picture from the old theory. Naturally there will be some who's feathers will be ruffled over it...but so what. Nothing is
preventing those from staying within their little comfy cozy fuzzy warm box while the rest explore and discover true history.
Cheers!!!!

You are spreading disinformation. You do not know if there are no other examples. Just like I do not know if there are other examples. But I have
shown you examples from Egyptology of them existing.
Besides, it does not matter one bit if there are a thousand other examples specific to the Sethos temple or zero. A better question is why these
helicopters and the like don't appear anywhere else.

Even if that were true, so what? I am allowed to post from what ever position I want; there are no rules to dictate what positions someone can
advocate and how often.

I will admit that I forgot about that particular incident. However, you tried to spin the incident, as if all skeptics were responsible or somehow
engaging in deception, then tried saying it was typical behavior.

Has anyone ever thought that the Abydos Temple hieroglyphics are not images depicting what they saw in their time, but are in fact depictions of
things they saw from the future?

Quite possible actually. In all the petty pro-con debate we often forget explanations beyond the two quarreling sides.
Good idea

Did you know that Cro-Magnon man and Neanderthal man were on this planet at the same time, in-fact the Cro-Magnons wiped out the Neanderthals’ and
replaced them, what if an alien race were replacing us today what would it look like, and what if they could become us.
Just to add more confusion..Here is a link.

I second that.
I am a fan of Hancock, not too sure about Daniken. He seems to get slated a lot and this whole thing about him forging evidence really doesn't help
me have faith in his stuff.
Then again, maybe that is all you debunking agents causing that

Ancient astronaut theory has always intrigued me. I love the ancient hieroglyphs depicting Egyptians holding something that looks like either a large
jar with a serpent inside or A Huge light bulb with a filament in the center of it. There are others that depict either present vehicles or the
plaster that gave way to them created these odd shapes that just happen to look like present day vehicles. Yes all of this has been discussed but I
wanted to give a heads up on my thoughts.
Personally I would like to believe that there are people visiting us and have been, unfortunately there is no real proof of this. Even if the
hieroglyphs are of current things used today, it doesn’t mean that the ancients used them or even ever physically saw them being used. They could
simply have had dreams of such things. After all Jules Verne did not see all of the things in his books, yet he wrote about them in detail which line
up quite nicely with modern day things.
Though at the same time they did find objects that were composed of the same materials as modern day batteries, to which experts are still not in
agreement on there use, though most seem to think they were used in a fashion similar to electroplating Gold onto objects, which in itself would be
very advanced.
I have read the stories of ancient flying machines having flying battles and may have even used nuclear bombs that may be responsible for high levels
of radioactivity in some ancient dig sites. There are stories that take these battles to the moon and beyond and even to the city of ancient city of
Atlantis. In most of the stories it seems as though most societies of that time feared the peoples of Atlantis, or at least that is how I interpret
the stories. These stories spark the imagination, but again I think back to the Jules Verne stories, and how they also provoked the imagination. Are
these just stories written by the Jules Verne of their time or is there more to them?
I myself am on the fence in my beliefs, but am still watching for that one artifact that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that either the ancients
had visitors from elsewhere, other planets, other dimensions, other times etc., or that they themselves were more advanced than we know.
So many questions . . . . . . .

You can either address the specific case-studies and facts plastered all over this thread or just shoot off vague ad hominem attacks that are empty.
Whats it going to be? Address something specific if you want people to take you seriously.
