Reports from Russia’s Northern Fleet to Prime Minister Putin, who this past summer had expanded their operating range into the Arctic Ocean Regions, are stating that the United States has reinstituted its “Operation Plowshare” programme and detonated a series of hydrogen bomb explosions in the Arctic in an attempt to locate what these American’s claim are vast undersea oil and gas deposits belonging to their Nation.

First on Nov. 18th I did the following thread on ATS:

The thread is titled: Nine nukes exploded under the Arctic Ocean Nov. 17th and 18th.

There were nine (earthquakes) one immediately preceding another during the 17th and 18th of Nov.

this was the list I provided in the other thread from a govt. site listing earthquake information.

I found the others listed on the site above from the government -

Russian Foreign Ministry sources are further reporting that due to these new nuclear explosions the United States has broken the agreement they made to President Medvedev last month after their first detonation of a hydrogen bomb in the Arctic Ocean on October 7th, and which reports from the United States say the effects of which were felt and recorded as far south as their State of Nevada and which the Americans had assured Russia that no further testing would be done without proper International notification.

I remember the 7th of October and the earthquake effects felt in Nevada, all the way from the Arctic. The reason I remember that, is because of all the chatter about GFL and Goodchild's prediction. People got excited over the quake felt in Nevada thinking it was the GFL - anyway, the point is, Russia seems to be confirming that - Yes - the U.S. has set off nukes in the Arctic.

If the U.S. is doing that - right now - the government has gone nuts and is playing with our planet.

It also makes me wonder - about all the huge amount of earthquakes that have been happening this year. Is it because of what our government might actually be secretly doing?

Are ones that may "possibly" come in the near future (predicted) actually be caused by something our government does?

Scientist have already said, the Earth is in a fragle state right now.
The Earth is rotating slower, but also more importantly the Earth's magnetic core is shifting.

Knowing that ....ANY government that would set off nukes in the Arctic ocean is certifyingly MAD - at what point will they stop destroying the Earth over their love of oil and money?!

There are so many other sources of renewable energy and some really amazing new ones that people have invented that could sustain us, instead the U.S. government looks the other way with those and actually throws walls up - so they don't get implemented.

What is it, we as citizens of this wonderful Earth need to do - to stop them and say :
ENOUGH ALREADY!!??

I am compelled to know why testing is still being conducted on nuclear weapons if the United States already has the "know how" on this technology. I wonder what is really going on and I would love to take a peek under the wizard's curtain to find out.

Although I am not aware of the proper protocol for nuclear testing, but again I state, if the US government/military already has that know how on detonating a nuclear weapon [and the correct calibration toward mega tonnage), why on Earth is testing still being performed?

Let's not question the source from Russia or even look at why Putin would say something like this.

Let's start by looking only at the logistics. Does anyone honestly think that you can tow 9 drilling platforms into the Arctic Ocean for drilling wells to place nuclear weapons for exploration. The deepest part of the Arctic Ocean is between 13,000 and 15,000 feet deep. You still need a minimum of 3 miles of hole to go the depth of the earthquakes. You just can't drill the bore hole size needed for nuclear weapons with a ship mounted drill, so platforms would be needed. I believe just about anyone with a camera on a satellite would notice platforms in the Arctic Ocean and some questions would be raised long before drilling started. Which now goes into this question.

Why were nuclear weapons used for seismic sounding when normal small explosive charges and several other means are used everywhere else? Even underwater, small noises go a long way. Only Russia has a history of using nuclear weapons for large scale deep seismic sounding. (Little known but interesting fact given what we are discussing)

I see too many problems for placing 9 nuclear bombs in 3 mile deep holes under 2 1/2 to 3 miles of water and then expect everything to work as planned. The holes would take time to bore and then once you move off site, trying to find them again. I wouldn't think you just drop a bomb and then move on. Who knows how long the bomb would be underwater while the rest of the holes were being bored. See the problems?

Is "Exploding Hydrogen bombs", really the best way to search for oil and natural gas? I think not. I can't put too much stock in this. Detonation of a nuclear weapon, be it above ground or below, air burst or under sea, cannot be accomplished without detection all over the globe, and the seismic data resulting from a nuclear detonation cannot, I repeat, cannot be confused with an earthquake.

There's very likely a lot of seismic activity happening up there, but I seriously doubt anyone is detonating nuclear devices in the area.

The most outlandish claim is that these nukes are being used to locate oil and natural gas reserves.

. Yeah, just like we nuked the Gulf of Mexico to find oil there.

This is probably the real reason for the melting and breaking up of ice bergs etc...but everyone's focused on global warming.

Whether they're really detonating bombs or not I still think it's because of people messing with stuff up there, but whatever.

I remember your thread and it does seem odd, however logic tells me that you wouldnt be able to do a fat lot in that area for many years if it were nukes. I think your concerns are justified cos their is definatly something going on down there & the Russians have their own bases there so they would be in a good position to know something is happening. Did you mention something about haarp before? I wonder if this was anything to do with it & giving the Russians the idea that they were nuclear detonations? If it turns out they are nuclear then they should be kicked off by the rest of the world for ruining the one last surviving unspoiled wilderness. It makes me sick what the US govt & others think they can get away with by denying everything & covering things up. look at the lost nuke situation that came to light recently, they lied to the Danish govt & the world for decades to cover that up so when people say this is just a fuss over nothing or doubt any wrong doing just refer to that incident & think again.

When you think about it IF America was setting off nukes THE WHOLE world would know about it because you would have Russia on every tv ,radio Jumping up and down pointing the finger at them.

Now i don't think for one min they would be trying to get to oil, more like trying to make a pole shift happen to cull the worlds population, What a better way to do it and it would happen fast .

Now everyone will say Russia is just lying to back up the claims of a thread on ATS.

I seem to recall quite a few posts dismissing this as an impossible explanation for the tremors detected but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out multiple "earthquakes" all exactly the same size is impossible.

Phil Schnieder was the one who made it aware to everyone, or at least put the information out there for everyone to find. That's why I had such a hard time believing people were just dismissing this stuff as fodder.

More like Russia never said anything of the sort, and some petty internet hoaxer made it up, and a bunch of people are taking it at face value without even considering the source. Incidentally, I hear gullible is written on the ceiling.

Testing is critical because nuclear materials and non-nuclear explosives degrade over time. We can do most of the testing with computers but I still think you have to blow one up in order to evaluate its true status.
