I had already stated that I would abstain...primarily due to the exhaustive string of debates beginning with Schro Dog and ending with The Vagabond...

It would be fun, but I have Holiday Skirmished before and want to sit back and enjoy what everyone comes up with...I am expecting some incredibly entertaining debates...

If mem is using the same system that I always used (pairing people in the order that they join) you might end up paired against me. If you REALLY feel you're ready for Mem, go ahead and press him into joining, but you might be better off warming up against me.

Oh, make no mistake, I've been watching this forum ever since I left and making a hit list. You are on it. But never you worry, I'm entering the first tournament of 2009. So you better hope it's set for January 1 so as I'll still be hungover from alcohol and any other legal chemicals I might have access to (perish the thought that I'd use illegal ones, angel that i am).

That may be true today, but perhaps not a few years ago. I get to drink double on New Years Eve. Not only for the holiday, but also because Dec. 31 is my birthday.

I was a bit more creative when assigning the pairings for this...

And Semper has half of them, so the rest will be posted tonight...

Ugh... I pushed send.... That had to be the worst opening post in quite awhile..

Well, short and to the point, but I like my angle, simple as it may be. I feel bad there wasn't more to say in the opening, but I've learned my lesson about making 90% of my case in the opening.

Shame that I'm on the pro though. I'd be a lot funnier on the negative side of this debate- it would go better with my image of myself as a villain.
