Thats just it though. A healthy skepticism is not the polar opposite of a blind believer.
I think that the only true opposite of a blind believer would be a hard core debunker - someone who has a knack for making things fit their
preconcieved ideas (utter disbelief), just like a blind believer (unadulterated belief) does but only on the on the side of the spectrum.
To me, a good skeptic is one who sniffs or tests the koolaid before he drinks it. He doesnt simply gulp it down nor does he pour it out on the ground
right away. Its a pretty simplistic analogy but I think it gets the point across. I dont know if our new Billy Mier fan even truly knows what he is
focusing his hate at really. He seems to be tossing it about all over the place ATM.

You say "debunker" like it is a bad thing. A debunker wouldn't be in business if these things weren't able to be debunked in the first place.

he didnt leave did he? damn i missed another chance to be a skeptical a-hole.
o well here goes.
the video is crap. its about as real as the video you posted of the denver alien. i convert videos with a click of a mouse. being on a camera phone
doesnt prove anything. how about you make a video of that video being filmed and then maybe ill believe it came off a phone.
nothing on youtube is real. you can type in ufo and have fun with that but the point is disclosure will not come from youtube.
blind believers are worse then skeptics.
atleast skeptics have reasons and evidence why we dont believe

No doubt, the debunking process has its merits. Its pivotal in this arena and there is much to be debunked in this field but there are those who even
give debunking a bad name.
When I mention the hardcore debunkers I am descibing those who will hack and slash wildly at a story/event never even considering the potentials
given within. They will bludgeon every event/vid/pic with a hammer of preset rejection and disbelief.

Oh I know. But it looks like our little friend has left, and I was still hurting to argue.

LOL...yeah but usually the fundamentalist skeptics are as ridiculous as the fundamentalist believers. Most fundamentalist skeptics have reasons, but
they're just as insane.

Just wow. The quality of this site and the posters has gone to complete crap. I can't believe people are still allowed to post this stuff, claim
it's real, then insult everyone who doesn't agree with them.
Welcome to abovetopfiction.com, because that's all that's posted here, especially in the Aliens and UFO's forum.

Quotes for total and utter agreement jeff. If someone brings something to the table claiming it to be real, then they can expect those of us with
experience to catch them out if they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes. (Or in this case anyone with eyes....what is it? national bad fake
day or something?)
I'd be over the damn moon if there was total proof tomorrow it'd save me a heckuva lot of work lol. Compositing stuff is so easy these days that
you can learn yourself it in an afternoon without ever leaving the comfort of your house.

Okay, OP -- it sounds like you want a "skeptic" to react to your post, so I'll bite...
...Why did the videographer just "happen" to be filming in that same spot that the UFO appeared from behind the dense trees to the left?
Furthermore, why did the videographer just stand in the same place after the UFO flew behind the trees to the right -- why didn't he move a bit to
get a longer look?
I understand that the OP was being a bit sarcastic, but I can imagine someone coming to this thread and believing this video to be real.

We've seen him before, in various guises, and we can safely say he is not being sarcastic. He is every bit the worst sort of religious
fundamentalist when it comes to this.

Okay, let's analyse.
The poor quality could have been bad compression, but considering there is no steadyshock on the camera we can say it's an amateur video and not a
snipped from an old movie.
Unfortunatly the video is poor quality bu a few things are immidiatly raising my scepsis.
1) For starters Youtube is a fairly anonymous source. There is no real evidence where the video comes from and no-one claims the video. One could
bring up that the person does not want to be seen as alienlover maniac, but considering how much money is in that business that is unlikely. Since we
have it over an U.F.O. and not a direct contact we can assume there was also no immidiate thread by exposing onselve as the filmer and military
couldn't care less since the video is one in a million.
2) The quality is very poor like usually. Of course U.F.O.'s rarely appear in front of a high tech filmcamera so we can assume the logic of it's
poor quality. however, poor quality can also be used to hide details. A striking look at the U.F.O. reveals to us some weird details. like how the
U.F.O. has no colordifferances. Unless it was two-dimensional (unlikely) or fake it would have a lower shadowy side and relief in it dispite of the
poor quality, we can conclude this due to the details of the trees and clouds.
3) The U.F.O. 's movement is rather strange. On one side we can say this is due to the nature of alien technology. On the other side we can see that
at roughly 3/5 of it's path through the screen it seems to 'hick' asif someone moves it by hand or mechanism. I would however have to say this one
is open since I really don't know alien technology and it's nature.
I would say it is a fake based on my observations. One in a million and it will not persuade many that it is real.

I CONVERT ANYTHING TO ANYTHING
Sometimes (rather often) i even have to convert stupid designs into useful outcomes...
Anyway that video can be converted into a 3gp within a matter of seconds and be sent into most modern mobile devices.
So SORRY but there is not a chance you could have the slightest proof this video is ...genuine. Furthermore when its so 'foggy' without detail.
(forgetting ofcourse the relatively small resolution.
Ohhh..... take it easy on your thoughts about sceptics because i also am one.
(SLOWLY DRIFTING TOWARDS A BELIEVERS STATUS - BUT THE EVIDENCE I HAVE AT THE MOMENT IS STILL NOT ENOUGH. SO CLEARLY A SCEPTIC BUT AN OPEN EYED ONE
INDEED)
I would suggest reediting your post....
PEACE
