Last time Chavez sent this thru, he was soundly defeated, and then he released the official results as 51-49...
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Monday said a constitutional amendment allowing him to stay in office as long as he wins elections should be
ready by February 2009 at the latest.
He did not offer a time-frame for holding the referendum that would be required to ratify the constitutional change.
