Yes, the US has boomer subs 24 missiles, 6 warheads each for
a total of 144 per sub.
Israel can launch nuclear cruise missiles from their subs, fairly easy to
shoot down as they are subsonic.

But I am sure they have some missiles on land that are not so
easy to shootdown.

Sad how for a certain group of people that when anything bad happens in the world, it's automatically the fault of Israel, the U.S., the U.K., all of
the above.

While this may escalate, there are quite a few more missteps that need to occur before even regular convential warfare is kicked around. I think that
is even a good ways off, if even happens, which it may well not do.
Nukes though? I swear, I could be mistaken, but it seems like some folks here salivate at the thought of a nuclear war. I do not want one. And I
think that would be a looooong way off. Why people here assume that a country is willing to in essense, commit suicide and global destruction, as a
"sound military action," baffles me. Nukes are not even considered a last resort. People here act as if people are just waiting with twitching
fingers, for any excuse to annihilate themselves.

Based on just the opinions of some people and little else, because those countries are easy scapegoats. Amazing how some people can just as easily
turn a blind eye towards the countries that are REALLY causing the problems for their own people and others. Example: awhile back I started a thread
about how people rant and rave about Bush (falsely) being a "dictator" while ignoring Putin's very real moves to become just that.
Read some history (not from the internet) and check SEVERAL sources for your news.

still no mainstream news is reporting this. I dont think this is anything to worry about because it seems to be completely unrelated to mumbai.

A question that is probably more relevant to the Bombay attacks (yes, I'm English, deal with it) and one that can be highlighted by my previous
choice of word.
When did the attackers stop being "Terrorists" and started being "Militants"?
Just like when the Bail-out became the Rescue-plan. In U.K. media sources whenever I saw a reference to these people it was not terrorist that was
used.
Maybe I'm resorting to confirmation bias again but I'm sure a militant would be easier to sell as "living next door" than terrorists, the latter
which obviously live in caves in Afghanistan.
