What is going on with all the reports of pirates lately? First oil tankers and alike, and now lucury cruise liners. There seems to be a rash of them.
Is this a new thing out on the high seas, or is it making news all of a sudden now that more westerners are being effected. My guess is the latter.
The Nautica was sailing in the Gulf of Aden between Somalia and Yemen when it was attacked on Monday night by pirates in two small boats.
I dont want to appear callous here, but I for one would not be visiting, let alone cruising this part of the world right now.
