Amazon, Tom Cruise and Scientology rev's.

Has Tom Cruise applied sufficient pressure($$?) on to Amazon
in order for them to stop selling a book which is supposed to
reveal some of Scientologies hidden ways?

First, Tom Cruise is a freaking lunatic.

Secondly, what exactly is Scientology? I never understood what the belief system consisted of and whenever I tried to research it the information was kind of inconclusive and didn't explain it.
