This is a small snippet from a regular user of Liveleak.
A Warning for us all, some times life sucks
Yesterday, Sunday my time, I was visited at my home with neighbors watching by the gun wielding “Task Force Argos” the Child Safety and Sexual
Crimes Police. My computers were forensically inspected both at home and in my office.
This came about over a video I uploaded in October about a 9 month old baby that was being swung about by his father.
I have been charged with Accessing Chil More..d abuse material, downloading Child abuse material and uploading child abuse material with the intent to
distribute and have to appear in court on the 18th of December for a judge to decide if I’m to be charged to appear in a higher court. Merry Xmas to
me
My finger prints and DNA were taken and I was interviewed like a common criminal with tape recordings and video. Apparently this is taken very
seriously in Australia.
I’m just trying to warn all the up loaders and Moderators to be very careful of what is posted and approved when it comes to children; no one needs
to go through this crap over something that is so petty.
As a matter of fact Hayden did everything possible to report the video to the local authorities in London; Interpol traced the video to Russia. Seems
that the police in Britain passed the information on to the Australian Federal police who tracked me down.
I want to thank Hayden and Venus for their kind support over the last 18 hours. I’m sure that sanity will prevail over this matter and that some one
in authority will realize the insanity of the charges.
Biggles
It seems that there are certain things that one should not be interested in keeping for posterity. Personally I collect many such clips - not as in
the case of the author, but I'm certain that anyone might find offense in some of that which I collect from my browsing cache.
Be wary of certain videos that are targets for bolstering 'child abuse/porn' arrest statistics. Remember that story about the practice certain
cultures have of throwing their kids off a high roof (to be caught by a relative below) as a right of passage of sorts? That video would qualify as
one of the offending above. Interesting that they did show this clip on the MSM news, but if you download it, or have it accessible for someone to
get from you..., you could face some pretty embarrassing times ahead.

I had some very gross pictures sent to me of an old lady with tattoos all over her body, it was not pretty, anyway I had uploaded them after my email
server ok'ed them for spam. I could not delete them soon enough!
Then a year later I had my very clean cut comp man over to fix some problems and 'those' pictures sprang up! I was shocked.
So lessons learned as we continue to enjoy the internet and avoid the problems that can arise with or with out our knowledge.
My comp guy was so sweet about it, he believed me and helped get it off for good.
"Know thy Computer"
This reminds me of that utube video last year of the baby the moms gave lsd or some drug to and filmed, I was SOOO disturbed by it I was just beside
myself, I never knew how it ended, all I could do was pray as hard as I could for the baby and for justice. I found that one here on this site.
This could get very bad if there are not checks and balances on the monitors of these kinds of videos. If what the Op states is true, they have wasted
manpower and money to chase a dead lead when there are tons of others needing to be arrested. Granted if 10 dead leads brings one criminal to justice
then it is worth it.

Wow. Alright no kiddy-porn---I'll keep it in mind.
If anyone is paranoid about surfer there's anonymouse.org
Maybe someone knows this to not work??
A friend of mine works on an organic farm were clothing is optional and she (very much legal age) told me many modern nudists prefer the term
'naturists' so I looked up naturists and there's all these naturists websites with naked kids. I got so freaked out I immediately closed the pages.
Seems like a pederast's dream websites.

Personally I don't collect those kind of things. But I do have Youtube submissions galore - some of which are inflammatory and or heavily biased. I
use them in my scrap book of conspiracy theories and other things.
Problem is, I'm sure someone might find a way to say that this or that piece is offensive or something. It's like the guy who has books on civil
rights in his car and gets arrested because he is a potential radical. I wouldn't expect anyone who knew me to be surprised or even question my
library of the bizarre, or far-out concepts, but with the new "enforcement" mentality prevalent in the 'peace keeper' community - who knows?

Creepy? That's one creepy avy you got if you think that's creepy. Is not the boy pictured expereincing suffering as the suffering of an abused
kid pictured on a video?
It's just plain hypocrisy it seems.

with how the dude has a collection of these things

My guess would be for the same reason you have a starved naked child as your avatar. The shock and awe value.

The fact of the matter IS that they can show up at your door for whatever reason, like for even downloading MP3's if they so decide.
In fact "the decider" recently signed into US LAW the internet piracy police, an actual police force that can not only show up at your door in the
US, but they also can cross international borders in the name of copyright infringement.

That's strange coming from someone with an avatar like yours?????
But yes it sounds a bit strange, but it's really down to why he has them. Any connections to how he got it etc.

people need to wake up. stop behaving like children. downloading garbage like a baby being thrown around is so stupid.
its beyond dumb. like, who would want to see that in the first place, what kind of dude would see the link and be like, "dayam they finally got it!
They found the video I've always dreamed of seeing, the baby getting thrown video"
then after that thought, they think, "oh boy I better download this I may never get another chance"
That's creepy. And what type of loser dad would throw their child around? That's beyond odd and boarder line psychopathic.

What is on my computer is my concern and no-one's else. What I do on the internet concerns me and noone else... As long as I hurt noone and do not
encourage anyone to hurt anyone, there is absolutely no reason I cannot have what I choose on my computer.
It's like being sued for being a neonazi and propagating gassing Jew-s just for having 'Mein Kampf' on your hard-disk.

Seriously why is everyone giving this guy hell for his avatar?
Maybe it's making you guys feel a little guilty?
It's to prove a point! A very good one at that.

There is nothing wrong with his avatar. That's the point. It's just ironic.
The point is, the motive is what really matters, why did this guy have that video?
Was it to show the world the reality of such things etc. Or was it to make fun of it. The motive makes all the difference.
Just like that guy with the avatar, I'm sure he has it to prove a point. But what if he had it because he thought it was funny? That would make a big
difference.
So basically we should know more details about why the guy has the video before calling him creepy.

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Granted that may be naive, but if you are going to assume that this particular image or video or
whatever it was constitutes some kind of anti-social trait, your would be guilty of judging someone without the specifics.
I take his story at face value. I can see that certain people simply will not tolerate that possibility, but that is their own affair.
I can believe that people would collect or share this video to make a statement regarding the subject matter, but apparently presumption of guilty
intent is more predominant in the society at large.
Too bad really. If his intent was noble it was lost, if it wasn't he'll face justice on the 18th.
Remember the video series 'Faces of Death'? It was distributed by all manner of video rental and sales stores. Anybody arrested for that yet?

The User downloaded 100's of different vids with a broad range of topics. The same video he was arrested for was shown on 3 different US television
networks. The video is sensational. If you had watched to the end you would have seen a happy, smiling baby. There is much debate whether this is
even abuse. Whats normal to you and me...might not be the same thing if you are talking to ( or watching) a Russian Circus family. The fact that
decision is no longer "common sense" should bother you greatly. The fact you can now be arrested for uploading a vid that has been shown on Network
television should be very troubling to all.

Did I miss something? This came about over a video I uploaded in October about a 9 month old baby that was being swung about by his
father.
Where does it describe this creepy abuse. I understand that is what the charges are but all I see as a description is this and people
are judging this person for having it so harshly? Does "swung about" mean something I am unaware of?

To the people who are giving insult to member baseball101 about his avatar, shame on you.
His picture is an iconic image showing the world that children are starving and dying from starvation.
The subject matter about this topic is completely different, so lay off him/her.
