I'm also a University Student - freakin' its a pain having to cook for one! If my roomates spoke english we might pitch in on groceries and crap but
we dont. We just cook our own stuff, actually I hardly ever see my roomates. One of them moved out last month and I JUST found out!
Breakfast of Champions (if you have an individual blender size like I do):
1/2 Bluberries
1/4 Cup Acai Berry Juice
1/4 Cup Soy Milk
3 TBS Yogurt
Top it off with Water
Protein Powder (cuz I don't get much being a Vegetarian)
Gets me through my morning classes till lunch.
If you have a crock pot...which is seriously the worlds BEST invention for students.
1/2 Onion (Yellow or White)
3 Carrots Peeled and Diced
1 Green Bell Pepper Julienned
2 Cloves of Garlic
2-4 Cups of Vegetable Broth
1 Can of Diced Tomatoes
2 stocks of cellery diced
1 zuchinni sliced
Cubed Potatoes etcc
Salt and Pepper to Taste
-- I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat meat, I eat a lot of Soup (which also helps me to not gain weight while going to school - the first 3 years I did
- and LOTS) --
And my Favorite:
- Yogurt
- Granola
Perfect for snacking.
