If practicable can you describe the purpose and intenet of the Red Cross of Constantine degree?

In the York Rite, there is a large number of so-called "side degrees" that have been solidified into various orders, the Red Cross of Constantine
being one of these. They are mostly given as an honor to their recipients, and are thus invitation-only.
Most of these organizations meet either quarterly or annually, usually with a banquet, a guest speaker, and a brief ceremony inducting new members.
