At what point did sleeping with 17 year olds change from "cool" to "criminal"?

This was celebrated back in the 70's and 80's but it is a major "no no" now. I just thought it was an interesting observation of how the times they are a changin'.

I would say the amount of teen pregnancies that arose from that era, myself included, gave rise to a different way of thinking.
Just my 2 cents.
However, quite a few 17 year olds nowadays pass for much older than they are.
(And I'm not speaking intelligence wise.)

I turned 18 halfway thru my senior year of high school...
And thats when under 18 became off limits...




Now, physicaly speaking...

From the medical evidence i have seen, the optimal time for a women to have a baby is when she is 13-15 years old. and a male is 14-16...

Im not saying that this is when WE should start to have children in todays world, but in terms of what produces the most viable offspring, those are the age groups that are determinded to be the best...


Now, in todays 'civilized' world, that seems insane but, over the course of human existence, the modern 'civilized' era accounts for only a small part of time....
