I have not seen much compelling evidence of shape shifting.
I mostly get CNN slowed down and for a split second the eyes
appear larger.

I recently saw a special on NOVA about the cuttlefish and thought
to myself, "What the #@&*"?!?!?!?!

Their ability to change their skin color to adapt is more amazing
than a chameleons. They also have the ability to change their texture
and shape of their bodies. They can appear soft and smooth to rigid
and leafy.

I guess my point is that the idea of shape shifting is completely real
and is happening right now in our oceans. Is it that out of this world
to think other beings or creatures cant do this?!

Are humans doing this? I have yet to see any great proof. Please feel
free to direct me to any compelling videos you may know of.

That's the thing. We are talking about a fish here. Some animals are built so they can shape shift. Humans are not.

Birds were built to fly, humans were not and yet we still managed to overcome that little obstacle

There's far, far more radical changes of fauna physiology in nature. Take the transformations that take place within insects for example.

However, as spectacular as they are it's not really evidence of anything. 'Human beings' just don't have a physiology to 'shape shift' in the way that so many people want to believe. Many of the transformations involved in shape shifting mean losing or gaining large amounts of physical mass. Where does that go? Where does it come from?

In nature, sudden increases of size are often down to temporary inflation of some kind, as with pufferfish or toads and so on. Are shape shifting 'humans' really big balloons? If so, people who claim to be shape shifters can easily be tested for such radical divergences in physiology.

Shape shifting in the physical sense that so many people want to believe is impossible. It would mean a radical overhaul of 'human' anatomy. This change would be so noticeable even with a cursory physical examination that it would be very, very easy for people who claim to shape shift to put their money where their mouth is.

i think as time goes on we will come to realise that many ideas that are considered "left field" at the present aren't so far out after all.

it's an issue of familiarity..
