Wavy Lines Optical Illusion

To enhance the ripple effect of this optical illusion, more your head up and down, and it'll appear to crumple and wrinkle right in front of your eyes

Jesus Optical Illusion

Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds.
Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window

Everyone who's having trouble with the last one, just stand very far back from your computer.

Cool stuff.
I liked the one with the pink dots the most. I wasn't expecting them to disappear like that (I watched before reading what was supposed to happen).

Yup that one is my favorite too. Very trippy.

We don't need no stinkin' second line.

Amazing find, anyone know the mechanics behind the black arrow and the pink -> green dots?

The Jesus one is really freaky!!

Imagine if you could play a prank on someone with this? Everything they closed their eyes they would see Jesus !

The pink/green dots on is based on chromatic adaptation. Press Esc in your browser to stop the animated GIF, and then stare at it. All the dots will disappear, leaving a constant grey field. Here's another example of chromatic adaptation:
www.planetperplex.com...

The animated lack of a dot, moving around in a circle, causes the adapted eye to perceive the grey field as a blue dot, in that area. The blue is the same as the opposite difference between red and grey:

(grey field color) + (blue dot color) = (grey field color) - (red dot color)

Sort of like how after-images work.

Oh my eyes!

I counted only three F's, didn't see 'Jesus' and barely see a 'gummie bear'!

Ive got these on my own site so thought about sticking them on.

Put Jesus one on as it might help those who cant see the other one.
