So I found this vid and this thing looks so cool... but I want to know how it works so I search the web till my fingers are sore and I can't come up
with any results.Apparently if you find this thing for sale at some kind of flea market or something the people will not open the package for you to
mess around with it and upon purchase you are not provided with instructions only a "secret" cod to be used on their website...Weird!! but cool none
the less.I figure it's just string attached to the head or neck but not sure any thoughts? or better yet owners who would like to share the big
I'm going to guess "string theory"
When I was a kid, I was an amateur magician, And I did a similar trick with a magic wand. It followed me around as I turned, and I could make it rise
from my hands. It was a tiny black string fastened to my clothes.
They also call it an illusion, which is code for what looks like is happening, is not really happening.
Here is something similar, done with a playing card.
And here is a comment from someone who purchased it from Amazon.com
I bought one of these on the basis of an instore display and the blurb on the packaging.
I took it back to the shop the next day, realising I'd been had.
The packaging and especially the video - online at YouTube - is SERIOUSLY misleading.
Do you get a flying toy? - NO.
Does the UFO fly on its own? - Not unless you throw it like a frisbee.
How does the UFO lift off and hover? - It is on a string (Yes really).
What do you get for your money? - Cardboard UFO, thin treads, instructions on making your performance look believable.
Please HELP! My son, who speaks English, bought one in Japan. The toy was in Japanese but they did give us a xerox copy of the instructions for the
MAGIC UFO. In all the confusion of packing and unpacking, I accidentally threw the English instructions and my son is heartbroken. Can someone who
has the toy PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me the instructions? It would make an 11 year old boy very very happy...and it would certainly make me feel
less of a terrible mom at the moment. THANKS THANKS....
