I saw that Bobbo-(about the White Sage not working). That surprises me, frankly.

Light a white candle, (for purity), (actually, any color will do),

and address it directly.

Ask it if it "knows it's dead"?

Ask him if you can help him.

Tell him to either nod once for "yes", and two for "no",

or blink his eyes, (once for yes, and two for no).

Try this, Bobbo, and see what happens.

The nightmares are probably part of this experience.

I've had candles going all day

it doesn't blink to answer when i ask it, nor will it nod to any other questions- except for the question i had posted previously- "are you from heaven or from hell" and it shook it's head no to both.

just a blank stare when i ask if it knows it's dead, and if i can help it.

I didn't say it was mental illness, I didn't say he's not seeing something, I didn't say it was his heating system. I'm simply pointing out other possibilities. I'm also pointing out inconsistencies in his story and that there is a good chance he is lieing about some things he's saying on here and that may mean he's lieing about the whole thing. Ladyspirit, could I assume that you would do what it took to get a picture if you were in the position he claims to be in? I'm not saying he's wrong, but you have to admit there are some things here that don't add up. (Side note: there's nothing common about common sense.)

Wow you just had a physical and the insurance company already processed it and sent you a receipt. They don't give cat scans with out a specific reason, it's that simple.

then I think you really need to again ask for either the Lord's intervention, or command this thing to leave "in the name of Jesus Christ".

You might also REALLY want to call the Parrish again, and get a Priest on the phone. A little Holy Water, and a blessing might be your next step.

I myself, have never dealt with the type of spirit you are addressing.

My Paranormal Team was composed of an Athiest, a Baptist, a Witch, and a Druid. Needless to say, we did not have one special way of dealing with spirits.

It was usually the "inhuman" ones that attempted to be difficult.

But when commanded to leave in the "Name of Jesus Christ", they HAD to leave.

I also have never had a human spirit refuse to leave

the difference, JOHNSmith, is I DO have an EMF detector, a digital camera with a nightscope, and ghosthunting equiptment.

But, then again, this is my profession. Most people do NOT have such things around.

And, despite my experince (which is considerable), I have NEVER dealt with a situation quite like this one.

I just left a message on the priest's voicemail system- he is the chaplain at a convent, and their phones are all turned off at 10 PM for some reason, so voicemail was my only option.

I've got holy water upstairs, i'm going to perform my own little cast off blessing, and see if it gets me anywhere.

BTW-JOHNSmith, I am an R.N. (no longer practicing). I am also a recovered cancer patient.

I know how much a CAT scan costs. Using the cost of a CAT scan, in an attempt to discredit the Author of this post, is frankly, arguing apples & oranges.

Not to further detract from the topic at hand, but CAT scans are used for everything from Migraines, to dizziness.

ok, here's what i did:

kneeled on the floor, cross in one hand, bible resting on the floor(just for good luck i guess, cuz i didn't open it). the holy water was in a squeeze bottle, so i sent a few squirts its way, closed my eyes, and said the our father, hail mary, and st. michaels prayer. i repeated them twice, and gave another shot of holy water in it's directions.

when i opened my eyes- it was gone. no trace of it at all.

but, here's what's odd. I let the dog in, through the front door, and when she set off the porch motion light, i looked at the front walk- and i saw a shadowy figure but didnt look long enough to make out features- its 2 am here, so i dont like to be outside very long.

I shut the door quick, and just now glanced out the window- to catch it if it was there or not before the porch light went off- and it was gone. my front gate is locked, and if it was opened would have set off the light also.

so i've gotten rid of one, but may have gained another.

Exactly, but they aren't something you get unless you have a REASON to get it, he apparently had no reason and gets a yearly CAT with his physical since he was 10, oh and his insurance covers this cat scan he gets for no reason. I'm not trying to argue but this guy comes up with some wacky stuff that seems like he says it because he doesn't want to think there is any other possibility other than it's some sort of ghost. Come on he threatens to sue me because I point out that seeing things that other people can't see could be a mental illness. The more irrational his behavior becomes here the more it is looking like it's just in his head.

i also haven't gone to other parts of the house, so that's not to say my original visitor didn't just move. but i think if ridded the house of him.

i never threatened to sue, first of all. i stated the fact that you calling me a schizophrenic would be considered libel.

and second, i've stated on more than one occasion in my posts that there is a reason for the cat scans- i just don't feel it's necessary to divulge my medical history to anyone but my family or my doctors- which means i'm sure as hell not telling you anything. I didn't turn 10 and have my doctor say "oops, you're 10 now, time for a yearly cat scan".

Bobbo-at this point, I would say that you are safe, for the evening.

Go to bed, and get up for mass. I think it would be in your best interest to receive communion tommarow.

If you feel frightened during the night, continue to pray, as God for help, and pray for protection.

I don't think you have two different spirits, they would be the same spirit.

Bed sounds like a good idea.

I'll be at mass at 11 am.

hopefully the same spirit has not returned.

I'll post tommorow and let you know how the night goes, and if there was nightmares.

People, know this:

This is the internet. If you choose to believe a story based on nothing but its content here on a forum, that is your choice...some might say it is gullible.

Others require PROOF, or at least an attempt to provide proof. Bobbo if you chose to share this story with a group of people on the internet you must expect that they will require further information to help them justify their belief in you. You really have no place jumping on John Smith for wanting more proof or at least you making some effort like buying a disposable camera...I must say it appears that you are making more of an effort to give excuses as to why you cant do something about it. I also noticed that you said your father was the school bus driver away on a school camp with your brother but then you told us he was an air-conditioning specialist who checked the heating system or whatever 3 days ago. Now that is all entirely possible but highly convenient.

Ladyspiritguide, it is your choice to place blind faith in Bobbos story. But you also have no place to jump on John Smith for wanting more proof. You say he is trying to discredit Bobbo's story but you well know that most people cannot believe information that is not verifiable...there are people out there that are not unconditional believers ok? You know this and expect anyone who requires further proof of claims to be trying to discredit the story? The tagline of AboveTopSecret.com is "Deny Ignorance", remember that.

I am not trying to put either of you down, I gave Bobbo the benefit of the doubt but now he seems to be making excuses as to why he cant do this or that consistently while Ladyspirit puts complete faith in the story regardless of whether there is factual evidence that can be garnered other than Bobbo's words. As a Paranormal Investigator you should know better.

Bobbo I am also annoyed that this thread has come to this, but you must understand that you are also responsible for this. What is the point of making the claims you have made here without making effort to convince people so they can help? Right now this is just a spooky story with nothing to back it, and is therefore wasting genuine people's time.

Think about that.

It's good to know that 'he' is gone.... but I wouldnt be happy with that because I still wouldn't know why he was there...

If he returns (or hasn't gone at all) I suggest you'd treat 'him' as your 'new found friend' so when you go out of the house ask if he wants to come with you, talk to him about what he likes (and dislikes) and then parhaps ask him why he is here...

I would bet that the human of the spirit was quite a shy person...
