I don't mean to be an alarmist, and I am obviously jumping to some conclusions here, but the question is this: How many people on this site alone have stated that something major would happen between now and inauguration day?

And we have mention that there are hightened alerts here in the U.S. as well?

This was not an attack from some rag-tag organization. This is highly organized and orchestrated. Military.

I really like how India is tryna make itself look as a 'victim' of islamic terrorism when India itself:

-has killed thousands of muslims indiscriminately in kashmir and still is.

-Indian politicians supported the extremist hindus to kill thousands of muslims in Gujrat and still is in other regions.

-India continues to destroy Muslim mosques in order to fullfill demands of extremist hindus to convert them into animal worshipping temples.

Dozens. Laying seige to an entire city is no small feat. The planning alone is a major task.

Indians are individuals..... They are people, they have a government, the government may be the ones responsible, but don't you dare accuse the people... Your post is in very bad taste.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) are advising all Britons in Mumbai to stay indoors, after eyewitness accounts say the attacks are primarily aimed at western tourists.

The British are planning to increase their anti-terrorism cooperation with India after these attacks - British and Americans were the targets.

Only 80 innocent people died and youre jumping up and down like it's 9/11?

Indian millitary has probably killed around 200 muslim kashmiris within past 2-3weeks due to elections not going very well in their favour.

As for the idea that this was a conspiracy, you can bet your bottom dollar it was...

Very high levels of organization and planning are evident here. At the VERY least, it was a conspiracy towards the Indian Government. At worst, there is foul play amiss... They were targetting Americans on Thanksgiving Eve. I am starting to worry that this was a pretense to something else.

[edit on 26-11-2008 by Jay-in-AR]

Yep, I don't know how anyone can doubt this is a conspiracy.

Near simultaneous attacks in at least 7 different locations, with automatic weapons, grenades, a sniper on a rooftop, a boat filled with explosives, the police HQ under attack, hardly a conincidence and hardly the actions of a criminal gang with financial motives.

Whether the conspirators are Communists, Islamic terrorists, the Bilderbergers or shapeshifting lizards from another planet is immaterial at the moment.

Both equally depressing and infuriating at the same time.

Thanks to our politicians we're targetted by lunatics everywhere now.

Expect things to increase significantly - against Pakistan.

Police accused Pakistan's intelligence agency of planning the attacks, which they said were carried out by an Islamist militant group, Lashkar-e-Toiba.

BBC

With a state of little or non-government actions in Pakistan, I believe these acts will be used to justify intervention - on a significant scale - by NATO to deal with the militants located in rural areas of Pakistan.
