Anyway, just to say something back on some kind of topic...
Here is a PDF link supposedly showing what the M V Alpha was carrying as of the 19th. I don't know if it's reliable, or even noteworthy, but here
you go.

I'm glad it's the Indians who've caught them & are questioning them - they don't take any crap.
First thing we'd have done (the Brits) would be to wrap them in cotton wool, organise an army of lawyers for them, then ask them if they'd like a
nice cup of tea.

it is on page 16 or 17 or 18 maybe,
but the picture isn't precise enough to determinate if it is or not.
it is looking like, i'm not hindu (well big admiration for vivekananda/ramakrishna, so if someone obliged me to worship something else than
ganga/mountains/sea/earth/the sun/solar system... universe, that will be those 2) but leaving in india/up and i see those very often (getting thick
because of accumulation of them);
his face also look more hindu than muslim to me but it is only subjective perception (in the street i usually can spot the difference if there is and
honestly i'm not sure there is especially since in the last decades many outcast are converting to islam)

Absolutely.
As Mike recapped, the requirements for this attack were:
1. Extensive special forces tactical, urban warfare training. Reports suggest that the terrorists are using the cover fire and tactical retreat to
move further and further up the Trident hotel. This means that the NSG have to clear each floor again and again as the terrorists retreat.
2. A mother ship (MV Alpha).
3. Ship-to-shore ferries to carry all 26 terrorists.
4. Transport from shore to targets (suspected underworld collusion).
5. 26 assault rifles (AK47s)... not particularly noteworthy. However they have HUGE caches of ammo, supposedly in amounts never seen before in a
terrorism scenario.
6. 18kg of RDX! Massive, massive amount. And that 18kg is only the amount that has been recovered from the dead terrorists (6).
7. The terrorists are equipped with flashbang grenades and know how to use them. This is a special weapon and tactic only known amongst special
forces.
8. Vast amount of grenades; also carrying dry fruit. This suggests that they are trained and know that hunger will hamper their ability to
fight...again that suggests professional training.

Does anyone else get the feeling that these are the first moves in a carefully orchestrated attack to get everyone watching. I get the feeling that
something is going to go bang in a big way very soon.

That is all very frightening information especially with one of the terrorists saying "wait and watch" and with the information that maybe 16 of
them are still roaming the streets.

125 dead.
Indian government is considering implementing the National Security Act (an anti-terror legislation) and the rhetoric is being amplified. We are
coming up to elections in India and government might take a Cromwellian approach.
Police have ruled out negotiations.

Apparently all four sub-ships have also been captured (in addition to the earlier mother ship).
The intelligence agencies apparently have concrete evidence of Pakistani involvement, which they claim they will release "at an appropriate
time".
One terrorist has also been grabbed from the Trident alive and is being questioned.

We have to wonder and contemplate the response from India if evidence links to Pakistani involvement. Only a few hours ago did the Indian Prime
Minister state he would no longer tolerate neighbours providing a haven for terrorists.

Definitely it will be a dicey few days.
LK Advani, Leader of the Opposition has just spoken on cnn-ibn (in hindi). The gist of what he said was:
"
The opposition, with the government will join with the people in resolve and staunch solidarity. We must advance as one, with the individual fingers
of our society forming a fist. We will take every action to catch the culprits and investigate the matter. Such actions will not be tolerated. It is
of great sorrow to us that visiting foreigners were hunted in this manner and we will retaliate in an appropriate manner.
"
nb: He explicitly used the word "shikar" which translates to "hunted".

I ask because they say the Taj is secure and all terrorists there are dead but also at the same time they say there was another explosion
It's a bit confusing...

I'm beggining to wonder if Pakistani militants are really the cause because the amount of planning done has to be done by someone who is familiar
with Mumbai.
Everything was done at strategic points, plus all at the right time as if they knew the Taj Hotel's scheduling, so they must have had someone in the
inside.

NDTV
Now they're reporting there's no hostages in the Trident. Only people that had locked themselves in their rooms.
They're concerned about 20 terrorists that may have escaped.
