But here are the facts:

- Media is supressed in Iraq, regardless if it's American or any other. Papers have been shut down.

- It's open season on reporters & cameramen. The links are on this board from a world journlistic organization protesting the numerous deaths in these recent campaigns. Many thread on the last one...where a video camera was "mistaken" for a six foot long rocket launcher.

- It's common knowledge that the Sunni Triangle area where this occurred has been the concentrated area of American attack. That whole "breaking eggs, making omlettes" scenario applies - air support prior to boots in the alley is SOP....I'm sure more than a few innocents have been killed in fron of their families.

- Given that "defense contractors" are mercenaries by a more PC name....a soldier is a soldier, a special ops crew is a special ops crew.....their action on the ground there can be said to be highly suspect.
