Twill not be roses here, at least, much like the IRAQ we were promised (Dick Cheney, wrong again...).
Why can't anyone here get angry too? I'm not saying "let's start a riot" I am just wondering where the outrage is. So, no, I guess it will
never happen here. Unless there is a straw to break the back...what will that be?

Well some men here in the US walked into the US senate and
threatened them with a 2nd civil war if they kept going down the
road they have been.
I don't know whether to think it was balls or lack of brains,
but they definitely got courage.
They can count me out of their little gambit thou.

The situation in Iceland scares me. For two reasons.
1. It is a major shipping route.
2. Americans might mistake Iceland for Canada and invade Canada!
Very scarey.

Love it! A group of people that actually got a riot to get some results (even if it was just getting one of their own freed) I wonder when we
americans will do the same and start storming not only the whitehouse, but the senate, and the federal reserve.

We should be protesting our government on a wide scale basis for its handling, and getting us into, this financial crisis. We should be ANGRY about
these bailouts and footing the bill for their ineptitude.
But, the government knows we have the capability of holding them accountable. They know to the point that when they regulated all broadcasters to go
digital in 2009, all of a sudden they realized that many poor people wouldn't be able to afford new TV sets. So, they offer a $40 "coupon" towards
the purchase of a converter box.
That way, we can just be the sedentary sheep they want us to be, directing our anger towards "Oprah" and our hopes to "Who Wants To Be A
Millionare" or "Deal Or No Deal", instead of at the Government that SCREWED ITS PEOPLE!

Actually, digital television has been in the works since at least the mid-to-late 90s, since I read about analog going digital in the book Defining
Vision by Joel Binkley, and that was written in the late 90s. It was around the same time (I believe in 1996) that Congress gave each television
station an extra channel to test out digital, so it has been in the works for a while. It just happens to be a coincidence that digital will be coming
into full effect around the same time Obama will be taking office (although it might have been planned; I surely wouldn't put it past those in the
shadows to plan that far ahead).

I was seriously impressed by a work of fiction called "V" (I think).
I wonder what would happen if 10,000 people marched on the Whitehouse (while cutting off the escape routes) with the purpose of placing Bush under
arrest for crimes and warcrimes?

So all aboard for the American tour,
And maybe you'll make it to the top.
And mind how you go, and I can tell you, 'cause I know
You may find it hard to get off.
As my pops always says "were doomed...." He was an LA cop for 22 years, you'd have to meet him. Die with a whimper I say! Or die with our boots

Television, sports on TV 24/7 opiates for the masses, not to mention all the BS news that is also going none stop.
I am proud of the Icelandic people for standing up to corruption and actually taking peaceful actions to get results.
My hats off to the people in Iceland you are truly an inspiration.

LET NO ONE FORGET THE POLICE HELD THIS MAN HOSTAGE FOR RANSOM -- OR AS THEY DEEMED," A FINE!"
Regardless of their economic situation, Icelanders should be proud their people are demanding action and have the balls to stand up to their fortified
powers that be!
Their entire government should step down.
Every Western Government needs "restructuring" as the Fascist would say.

That would be Alan Moore's V for Vendetta. excellent flick, can't say the same for the graphic novel though. Because it paints V as a terrorist and
not so much a freedom fighter. It actually is a very ambiguous novel. You really can't tell who is the bad guy.
On your other comment, I agree, I've been wondering myself what would happen if thousands upon thousands of P O'd americans stormed the white house,
the senate and the federal reserve and hanged (YES! HANGED!) these bastards for their crimes. If you think that what I'm saying is too harsh, too
radical, you should see what they have planned to depopulate the masses as is instructed in the GA guide stones. And believe me, they won't loose any
sleep over it because they honest to god feel they are justified in doing so.

Sadly, I think the rage and attention of the American people is suppressed somehow by chemicals in the air, water and food. They have been spraying
like mad here in Northwest Texas. No one can follow what is happening without great effort.

"V" the miniseries on NBC chronicled by A.C. Crispen or "V for Vendetta" the great movie from the graphic novel by Alan Moore? I am betting "V
for Vendetta." Both are favorites, but "V for Vendetta" is an inspiring call to action!

I have a newly found and very profound respect for the people of Iceland.
I only wish Americans could muster up half of the courage these people have, our country would be a much better place to live in.

I was and still am a pissed American. I went to a rally with over 300 people where we marched the streets of Chicago and protested outside the Fed
Reserve Bank. No riots. It felt great and I want to see/go to more. We need to get organized somehow. Like a craigslist but for local political
protests.
