Israel under no pressure over Iran

 The United States has not pressured Israel to rule out military action in order to halt Iran's nuclear program, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has
said after talks with President George W Bush.
The outgoing prime minister, who ends what is probably his last visit to Washington in office, said he "spoke at length with Vice President Dick
Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the president on Iran."
"There is a basic, deep understanding about the Iranian threat and the need to act in order to remove threat," he told reporters.

... and the plot thickens. So if this news article is correct, it means that Israel has an open ticket to attack Iran "in order to remove the
threat".
Since there is a change of government both in Israel and in America, i wonder if the new leadership is the one under instructions to make sweeping
changes and carry out the attacks... or whether this will all happen before Jan 20 handover to Obama.
... From the tone of the article, it appears that an attack on Iran is imminent.

i wonder if obama's retention of the secretary of defence from the bush administration means that a strike could be possible before the hand over is
completed.
If Israel starts a war in Iran, then America will most likely get involved as well. It could mean that the nation would be in three simultaneous
wars...
Could it be that a military strike on iran through israel would constitute reason enough to push through compulsory military service after high
school?
The previous depression was ended with the start of WWII and offcourse the military draft had a big part to play in bringing the economy back up. With
unemployment predicted to hit 10%, this could be a way out of dire economic straits.
