WARNING: This page is 201 kilobytes long; ???

Topic started on 25-11-2008 @ 06:23 AM by anxietydisorder

WARNING: This page is 201 kilobytes long; some browsers may have problems editing pages approaching or longer than 32kb. Please consider breaking the page into smaller sections.

Why am I getting this warning ?
And who would have a browser that can't handle 201 kilobytes ?

Does size matter ?

Edit: It says "problems editing", but you shouldn't be editing religious text to begin with, and I intend to post every book of every religion I can find on the internet as reference material for tinWiki.

Is article length a problem I should be concerned with ?

Oh Hi...
My favorite pug.

Here's a link to the page I'm getting the warning on:
tinwiki.org...

Besides that, how ya doing these days ?

I'm busy myself with new challenges and keeping up with everything that needs to be done. We've moved into our winter season now so I'm moving snow and wearing a tuque again.

You're probably getting summer weather now and have no use for the one I sent you.

I don't have the wiki know-how, but this is what the Internet has to offer:
Advice

I'm doing OK, thanks. Busy, busy, busy. Yeah, we're pretty much well into summer here - it's been raining nearly every day, so we don't have those long hot summer days we're so used too. At least the doggies enjoy their daily frolicking in the mud...

The link didn't work the first time, but the fashions were fabulous.

Not something I could wear though.

That works works for me.
I'll Wiki along until someone says to change my format. Thanks........

Good to hear you're doing well.
We've had more rain than snow so far, but my gardens are done for the year and we're turning raked leaves under to sit and enrich the soil for spring.

I used to hate not having snow for Christmas when I lived in the south. It just seemed strange after growing up in the north.

I bet you've never seen a day when the temperature dropped below minus 40 C.
At minus 50 C. you can spit and it freezes before it hits the snow.

If you're ever in Canada we'll keep you warm.

Below -40 Celsius?! Hahaha... If the temperatures here drop below 1 degree Celsius we're all talking about it around the water cooler. At least the snow makes up for the cold there, right? I've never seen snow here in SA - but I "fell in love with snow" when it snowed in Edinburgh.

Not sure if I've got the right stuff to face the Canadian colds though...

Err... Back on topic though. Glad I could help.

That warning comes up on any of the articles that are larger than 32kb when you open the edit tab. It has happened to me numerous times with various articles (some I have written), but I've never had a problem with opening them, editing them, or saving them.

Good to know.
I've edited numerous long topics and this was the first I've seen it. But your right, I had no problem adding links or doing my edit.

Thanks everyone.
