Maybe America needs a monarcy aswell.....

I know it's a bit old fashion but think about it.....he/she wouldn't have to participate in rulling the country but just be their to function as a general conscience.....

King of America.......

(that's gotta do good for your ego when you can put that on your businesscard)

Who do think is best at serving as the conscience of America???

My vote would have gone to George Carlin....but that's a little to late (rip)

Mod Edit: to correct spelling in thread title

I think they would pick Paris Hilton . She thinks she is royalty as well, doesn't she ? , by all accounts.

Or maybe they could do one of those shows you all like where ordinary people do stuff in front of a panel of judges , simon corwell(sp) , maybe get a few european 10th's in line to sit on the panel with him to choose the best.

edit : American Idol is what I was trying to think of .

The Bush dynasty comes perhaps as close to royalty as most Americans will ever care to.
Yet, that Obama fellow seems like a regular prince charming. Although, he appears content with being a knight in shining armour, though.
