Are you kidding me? Incentives? DO you know the tax rates these guys are paying? Try 15 to 17%. I pay 33%. Incentives are you sh$%ing me? These guys have had the lowest taxes in our history and what did they do? Well we all know what they did. Why? They dont care about America. They have no allegiance to our country. They care about themselves and their masters over in Israel and Saudi Arabia. Disgusting. Instead of getting rid of corporate taxes or lowering them lets kill the individual income tax. You want to see growth that will do it. Corporations dont even exist. Humans do.

I have to say

I love this type of thread

Makes these conspiracy people figure out that there's real life people who live and work in the real world who are intelligent.

Peter Schiff is an example of a regular guy making a difference because he is smart.

A lot of these people on here could learn from him (Obama Isn't Born in America Crowd)

YES, I'm in France and was watching Peter Schiff when he was cut off - I think I remember what he was saying: "...and the things they are doing ...." From the tone of the voice the rest sounded like it was going to be "...are only making things worse" . I can assure you I am no conspiracy theorist ... but I was very shocked - and I am suspicious indeed.

I don't know if he has many fans here...all I see here being posted lately is nonsense about the greatness of Marxism and communism...Schiff is completely the opposite. (These latest postings by ATSers has turned me off from participating lately on this BB)

No offense, but it seems to me that perhaps ATSers, would be happier if you had a representative from the U.S. Communist Party speaking instead.

I assure you I am no fan of marxism or socialism.

I aslo assure you that the ppl founding the militias that
went before the senate and threatened them with a 2nd civil
war recently are not either.

I am not going to throw myself under the bus like them though,
and I will be bugging out when the schumer hits the fan.

I am a conspiracy person and if you think JFK was killed by a

Get over yourself.

If you had read past the first sentence of my post before replying you would know that I was responding to a suggestion made by another poster. The first sentence was a rhetorical question posed again so as to expose the weakness of the provided suggestion.

JFK was killed by multiple shots, Oswald acted alone. He was a trained marine sniper.

He easily had the drop.

I just saw the History channel show about it. Said he could reload in-time, first shot hit Kennedy's throat and hit the Governor through the chest, second shot was a head shot.

Something like that. Right?

I'm very intelligent I consider myself smarter than average.

Because I enjoy watching people react in real-time to news. The internet is fascinating.

This happens to be a very active and informed group of mostly cool people.

Now for income taxes.

Although lowering the income tax would work, the government would never do it, obvious reasons aside (they're greedy of course). But more importantly, with the anticipation that the dollar might be at a very high risk of crashing and burning in the near future, we want to keep foreign investors buying U.S. treasuries, with U.S. dollars, keeping the price of the dollar inflated. A reduction in the income tax would pose a risk that those investors just won't be willing to take. Investors are generally dumb. They'll listen to the optimism of government promises like it's a message from God almighty. Just look at how the markets rally whenever Obama holds a press conference. The Fed isn't credible because of its policy making, it's credible because it controls the money of the richest and most powerful country on the planet. The fearful respect given off by that position of power alone is enough to convince any investor... that is only for the moment (let's see how things look a year from now). On the other hand, if the government decides to do something smart, such as spreading the bail-out capital to all tax paying citizens (thereby increasing the collective brain power to actually address this problem) investors just won't be able to take it. The investor market has a psychological maturity of a 6 six year old on a sugar high. If there are too many variables, they give up and cry, even if a solution seems to be in sight. It really is too bad that a lot of investors are spineless cowards, but I guess that's just human nature. Not only does the U.S. government have to provide some rather ingenious policy (it wouldn't if it just cut taxes, but seeing as it won't...) but balance that with the multitude of variables that is fear and human nature.

Please correct me where I'm wrong. I'm an amateur observer at best.

JOHN SWINTON OF THE NEW YORK TIMES COMMENTED YEARS AGO THAT IF HE EVER ALLOWED HIS PERSONAL OPINION TO MAKE THE NEWSPAPERS HE WOULD BE OUT OF A JOB WITHIN 24 HOURS,
HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT A NEWSMANS JOB ISN'T TO TELL THE TRUTH BUT TO OBFUSCATE IT, TO LIE OUTRIGHT, TO MISLEAD...

HE CALLED HIS PROFESSION A GROUP OF INTELLECTUAL PROSTITUTES,WHO DID THE BIDDING FOR OTHER POWERFUL AND WELL PLACED MEN, HE SCOFFED AT THE SLOGAN, "Free Press".

so do not be so surprised if the news show SPIKED THAT SEGMENT onn the
crimes of the so-called federal reserve.... those jokers are as federal as federal express!!!
nuff said.
Long Live the spirit of George Seldes....the best muckraking journalist ever
to hold a pen.

I'm so pissed! 9 pages of posts and still no video of Schiff being silenced. The MSM execs must have really put the boot to the producers of this program and those responsible for adding clips to the CNN website. This interview is almost turning into the tree and the forest scenario...if no one can see it, did it actually happen. This could be a perfect lesson on how condition a population...take anything contrary to the agreed upon ideas of how things should work, and bury them as fast as possible so they can't be used to shake up the establishment.

This is not entirely off topic, but I had to point out that the concept of corrupt banking is a new theme in hollywood.

Columbia Pictures has released the trailer for The International. Clive Owen stars as Interpol Agent Louis Salinger, who with the help of Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) are on a mission to “bring to justice one of the world’s most powerful banks.”

“Uncovering myriad and reprehensible illegal activities, Salinger and Whitman follow the money from Berlin to Milan to New York to Istanbul. Finding themselves in a high-stakes chase across the globe, their relentless tenacity puts their own lives at risk as their targets will stop at nothing – even murder – to continue financing terror and war.

Not sure how anyone could not be aware of this well known fact but Tucker Carlson is Bob Novaks protege and leans so far right that it is a wonder that the man does not fall over. He was on "Crossfire" beside Novak opposite Paul Begala and James Carville for quite some time. He has the same ability to outright DENY reality as Novak and is quickly gaining fame for it. The notion that a television network can pawn him off as a Libertarian free thinker is not just offensive, it's a blatant insult.

Hi TheComingDepression,

Did I miss something?
Are you in contact with Schiff?
What did he say?
Does he have the footage?

Is SkepticOverlord still trying to get him in the Mix?

Thanks

Amazing, truly amazing. Is this a sedative for the general public? If Hollywood is owned by the Illuminated, this is a dangerous powerplay.

Why would they risk worsening their public opinion I wonder?

Maybe just a sedative

Because destroying confidence in a currency will help devalue it even further. Once a currency is sufficiently devalued it can be moved to another currency, and the reasons they are putting this into mainstream is because more and more people are becoming aware of it so rather than them learning the facts for themselves they'll slip whatever disinformation they need to via the film industry. People will see the film and be happy enough in thinking that film tackles the concerns they are having and that something must already be in the pipeline to tackle it
