I was discussing this with one of my colleges and I am still thinking.. if after world war one germany was able to cause war world 2 what makes you guys not think they can cause world war 3?

Germany doesn't really have any recent conflicts other than the assistance of US and UN soldiers in Iraq. There is no substance to the accusation that they will start WW3 in fact, I would much rather place my chips on USA starting WW3.

Put up some evidence for this.

Germany is not a large military power anymore.

thats what ppl said before ww2 they said germany wasnt a large military power but they sneakly did all this stuff

What i think will happen is that after the economic crisis hits full scale germany will regain power in its land,resources,miltiary ,etc.
Plus alot of the german people I talk to in germany last summer belived they have the right to own back land they took over.

You are not from Europe I suppose? We have very different perspective on this.
There is not a scred of evidence to support your view on this. Germany is following the European Union strategy. This times now are very different from the pre-WW2 situation.

I think you need to go back and read your history books; Germany didn't start WW1 and if the economic oppression and embargos placed on them by the allies after WW1 were not so severe then I sincerely doubt Hitler would have even got into power.

Ha! I disagree with OP completely. Germans have no appetite for war whatsoever these days. they have kittens when asked to leave Kabul and take part in offensive ops', let alone invade poland again. Poland would probably win this time too!

But, on a lighter note, you know what they say, 3rd time lucky!

germany is no position to start anything. there are american bases there so we know whats going on. ww3 is gonna be started by china, america, russia, or bigfoot

Ah well I guess as one poster said before that Germany is now weaker than it is now and unless without the help of Russia it cannot even take over Czek Republic or PoLand or Denmark or any of the previous countries it was able to use to take over.

Nobody really knows how things will turn out. Even web-bot. But for Germany to start WW3 - a LOT of stuff has to go wrong. There was a lot of tension both before WW1 and WW2 in the Europe. Not sense it now. If i was to create list of potential ww3 starters Germany will be pretty far from the top.
