As I was leaving Fort Bliss (El Paso, TX) this morning I noticed a large convoy of semi-trucks pulling in all sorts of vehicles from the Canadian
Army. Most of the vehicles were stenciled with "Police Militaire."
Now I know that Fort Bliss is home to many an international army personnel, but I was just toying with the idea of the NWO or the UN Army invading.
P.S. There are many and I mean MANY a tacmar indicating the entrances to Fort Bliss and Biggs Army Air Field. If you guys want I can post pictures of
the many tacmars.

Well for starters US influence is going down the toilet so that means that all countries are going to grow in power anyways. YOu have to also consider
that CAN and US forces have always cooperated with eachother on joint projects and training. With the whole G20 thing happening many countries are
probably going to start working together. The G20 is basically trying to find a way to make a large union not unliek the EU so its necessary for the
forces to cooperate.

Foreign military train with US military all year long, all over the country. Been this way for years.
I lived on a base that hosted foreign military thruout the year. We had Canadians there all the time. We also had Japanese, Germans, Italians,
French, Aussies, Koreans......and the list goes on.
There is no conspiracy, seriously.

I'm sharpening my ice skates and I have a yen for cheese. The U.S and Canada share the longest unprotected border in the world, and it's no surprise
that there would me a lot of co-operation, said co-operation being that the U.S. says "Jump!" and Canada Says "How high, eh?" The preceding terms
U.S. and Canada are purely political, and in no way reflect the opinions of the entire populace of the aforementioned "countries".

I think the OP meant there are a lot of canadian military personnel in texas at the moment, not that they are 'invading' the U.S...

Canadians can come down anytime they want, I would welcome them, and that includes the army. I've trained with many units from around the world and
german units I like because they bring Kegs and Kegs of Beer.

Hey there! I work for AAFES on Ft. Bliss actually. I often see British and Canadian soldiers walking around. When you think about it, it's kind of
neat. Most of them are part of the coalition forces, which of course means that they're helping us out. Feels good to have that kind of assistance I
guess.

Hello. I got stationed at Fort Bliss about five months ago. I'm used to seeing the many different armies here on post it was just quite funny to
see so many foreign police vehicles. I have a strong feeling they are friendly.

That's pretty apt. I was in LA in June '78. Damn near died. We'll take care of winter though. -25F? No problem.

Ha, either way, us invading you would be funny. Kind of reminds me of Fallout 3, where in the loading screen it has a newspaper article saying "US to
Annex Canada!". You Americans better watch out, before you know it, we're going to own you, and you'll have a positive stance around the globe!
But serriously, we've got like 125 C1 Lepord Tanks, and they're going out of service in 2015. You Americans have 5000 M1A1 Abrams. All you'd have
to do is role one of those things into each of Canada's main cities and you'd win!

Uh huh and then we would respond with Sea Kings.
Seriously, this new gov't is putting teeth back into our military. About time. For those that don't know about Canada's special forces check JTF2.
These are serious personnel.

Yeah, it looks like we're gonna invade, and no shooting as well, which is a good thing.
From Reuters:
Canada avoided banking pitfalls, central bank gov. says
Sat Nov 22, 8:58 am ET
LONDON (Reuters) – The global financial crisis could have been avoided if every country had had a banking system like Canada's, the governor of the
Bank of Canada said on Saturday.
Asked in a BBC interview if the world could have been spared the crisis if everyone had had a banking system "as sober and sensible" as Canada's,
Mark Carney said: "Yes, I think, is the short answer."
"What we did was that we had an absolute restriction on how much leverage, how much borrowing our banks could do," he said.
"They didn't like that and they would come in and complain about it regularly because it was stopping them from doing some of the sexier things that
their international competitors were doing. But it turns out some of the sexier things that they were doing were quite foolish," he told the BBC
World Service.
Canada has the soundest banking system in the world, according to the World Economic Forum.
However, Canada reinforced its banking sector with loan guarantees last month in a bid to mute the impact of a global financial crisis that is
forecast to push the country to the edge of recession.
Banks that had got into difficulties had "short-circuited some of the very basic aspects of banking," Carney said.
They had relied on other people to make judgments about loans or felt that as long as they could get rid of a "hot potato" loan quickly it did not
matter, he said.
"Well, the music stopped eventually (and) they still had it. And because they had it in such size, it has been a very painful process to work that
out," he said. Bankers who had not been on top of their business were gone or going, Carney said. "There is vicious natural selection going on right
now in the financial services industry and it's appropriate."
The crisis would probably reinforce the rebalancing of global economic power that had already gathered pace this decade, he said.
"Financial systems in Asia are likely to do relatively better through this period than the financial systems in the West who have some restructuring
to do. But it's a healthy thing to have economic growth spread more widely," he said.

Of course, we're Canadians, so there's nothing to this, right?

So then, should I assume by the US military being here and training and working alongside our Canadian forces, that the US is going to invade?
Well that would explain the troop of US soldiers walking down the street in full gear to a secluded forested area near my home. I suppose they are
spying on me.
Not to mention the three of them that rent houses on the street directly behind me.
Better watch my back.
